The author did a nice job of creating a strong female character without making the male look weak or ineffectual. I enjoyed their passionate scenes and their dialogue was concise and furthered the plot. There was a lot of world building thrown into a tight and well written short story and it worked well. Cold Blooded should appeal to readers of urban fantasy romances because the happily ever after is a good one not to mention a bit on the humorous side. I’m quite glad I read this.
