To fulfill an ancient covenant, Asherton Karlitis, a half-demon Hell Hunter, turns against his kind to fight demons bent on destruction. He must save one special female from becoming a victim and breeder—a woman he craves for himself. He will seduce her and mark her with his essence.

Dalila Na’eem has helped Ashe with paranormal research for some time. He’s super sexy and their attraction is undeniable. He has long been the focus of all her erotic fantasies. Tonight he wants to make them reality.

When she finds out the truth about Ashe, she is shocked and afraid. But her need for him is enough for her to accept what he is and to trust this half demon who says he knows how to love.

Can a half-demon really love? Can a human believe in things unexplained? And can they both make a life together despite the constant threat of incubi?

I guess you need to read Brazen Moon to learn more. I know I did and it was worth it.

Some books are easy to figure out. Some have simple characters with simple needs. This isn’t one of those books. Not only is the plot complex, complete with plenty of twists and turns, but the characters have intricacies that I didn’t see coming. Nothing in this little tale is quite as it seems and it’s better that way. My biggest issue is that the story ends a tad abruptly, but I need not cry. This is the first of a series. Ashe isn’t a perfect hero. He’s half demon. He’s also male, which lent itself to plenty of humorous incidents. He needs to mate with Dalila to keep her safe. His approach is more than a little blunt. I loved it because I don’t know too many men that aren’t blunt.

Dalila has a lot going on in her past that almost needed a bit more explanation. I liked how Ms. Kerce kept the suspense high, but I wanted to know why Dalila was so guarded and more about her relationship with Ashe prior to the story. Still, I liked that she had a gift that she wasn’t sure what to do with because she didn’t really want it. I have talents I’m not so sure are good things and I can understand her reluctance. It made her more realistic to me.

If you want a story with plot twists galore, hot sex, and a couple that can’t keep their hands to themselves, then you need to read Brazen Moon. I give this story 4 cherries.
