This story packs a lot into very few pages. The author does a top notch job at diving in and setting the scene from the first few sentences. A moonlight beach, deserted island…what could be more romantic? In this case a naked woman emerging from the ocean.

We know she’s the heroine from the minute she meets Adrian, we realize she has ulterior motives but that’s what makes it all the more exciting to read. The sex is as erotic as the setting and these two characters are very likeable. The dialogue and descriptive passages were nicely balanced in this short read.

At the end of the story there’s a twist of sorts, well, we know what it is, but Adrian doesn’t and I think that’s what I liked most about this story.

Well-written, well-plotted with plenty of heat, Beautiful Storm would make a great addition to anyone’s TBR list.
