The premise of this short story was interesting, but I felt that the story ended a bit too abruptly. I longed to know more about this couple as they seemed to have an interesting backstory and I was curious about what would happen beyond that night. At times I felt as if I were reading an excerpt from a book rather than a whole story, but what I did read was very enjoyable and well-written.
