Racing hearts and race trucks…things happen fast on track.

Adam Lowry is known in the racing community as the best crew chief. He doesn’t pull punches or put up with diva antics from drivers no matter what. But there is one man he never quite got over. Will Camden, his former lover and now the latest addition of the Flash Racing team.

All Will Camden needed was a second chance to prove he’s got what it takes to race with the big dogs in the truck series. When he’s asked to fill in for another driver at Flash, he’s determined to make the best of the situation. Knowing his ex is his crew chief is bonus points.

Can they make the jump from being a solid team on the track to solid in bed or will they crash and burn before the end of the race?

Hot Laps is part of Megan slayer’s Track Domination series, and it holds all the passion for racing that Ms. Slayer holds dear.

When the lead driver for Flash Racing quits just before a race, crew chief Adam Lowry has no idea what the owner will do for a driver. When the replacement walks into the pit, Adam is stunned: it is his former lover and friend, Will Camden. Adam ran from Will three years before, not because he didn’t care, but because he was afraid of everything Will made him feel. After three years, the feelings are still there, but can Adam work with Will without the closeness they once had? Does he even want to? As for Will, he never stopped loving Adam, and the proof is tattooed across his back, a permanent reminder of the man he wants back in his life. But first, Will needs to find out why Adam ran, so they can fix it and move on. Within hours of Will’s return, Adam is aching for all that Will can give him, but is he strong enough to accept what Will offers this time? Can he be honest with Will and explain what made him run three years ago? Can these two find a way to work, and play together and forge a true relationship?

The characters in this have a history, and I enjoyed watching these two men discover love again with each other. The character development is excellent, and the story kept me riveted, wanting to know what came next with them. I like the world Ms. Slayer has built here, the gritty world of truck racing, with the risks as well as the high times and successes.

Adam Lowry is a strong character, but he has his flaws just like any real human being. He loved Adam when they were together, especially their D/s games and the way Will made him feel. It was Adam’s insecurity that came between them before, and Adam isn’t sure if he can get past it this time around, and believes maybe it would be better to stay away this time. Until the first time he and Will are alone, when everything rushes back, and Adam discovers himself, finally, with help from Will. I like Adam for his honesty, and his willingness to take a chance at a future with the one man he could never forget.

Will Camden is strong, sexy, and determined to win back the heart of the one man he never got over. Adam has been on his mind for three years, and this may be his last chance to find out where it all went so wrong. He is willing to do whatever it takes to bring Adam back to his side, including reversing roles, and letting Adam take the dominant role in the bedroom for a change. I liked Will for his perseverance, his determination to help Adam in order to learn the truth behind it all, and his willingness to let Adam be who he is.

I enjoyed visiting Ms. Slayer’s world of hot racers who know exactly who they are and what they want. The passion in each of the characters is expressed with fiery heat, and the bedroom games are more than hot. I enjoyed watching as these two played, and I could see the love they have for each other in every action. Ms. Slayer was able to build a loving relationship in such a short time, I could not put this one down. If you are looking for a very hot, very brief story, this one hits the spot very well.

Mesa has a lot on his plate since he became his pack’s Alpha. With another clan on the brink of self-destruction, he knows he has too much to take care of to go running off, but he also knows what he needs to do in order to run his pack, and that’s go get his mate.

Kody left Mesa years ago, knowing they could never be together the way Kody really wanted. Making a life for himself seemed like the best idea, and when he found Samantha, he knew he’d found the woman he wanted to marry. Kody never forgot Mesa, but it still comes as a shock when the big, growly man shows up on his Los Angeles doorstep.

Between Sammy’s rage at what she sees as Kody’s betrayal, pack politics hitting the boiling point and the amazing chemistry between the three of them, Kody, Mesa and Samantha have their work cut out for them. Can they climb the ladder to love?

You’ve just completed your trials and are the new Alpha, what are you going to do? Go get a mate or two of course!

Enter Mesa, super stud and newly appointed Alpha who sets out to find his best friend and mate, Kody. Kody, a psychic, left his clan to wonder off into the world. Typical weird psychic behavior perhaps, but still highly upsetting for everyone that loved him. While he’s off wondering the world, telling fortunes at fairs he meets and marries Sammy, the straight-shooting level headed banker from Los Angeles.

Put all three of them in a pot and what do you get? A whole lot of boiling over! Mesa and Sammy are both the Alphas and Kody is the Beta in this triad. I felt like the characters where strong as standalone individuals, however when they’re together it was just a hot mess. The characters didn’t seem to really click until the end of the book, when they were finally able to give one another what they needed.

Mesa spent much of the time knowing Sammy was perfect for him and Kody, yet stressing over the clan drama. Kody spent most of his time and energy keeping the peace between Sammy and Mesa, yet was so happy to be back with Mesa. And Sammy spent most of the book being confused over who she was and why her husband was sharing her. Not that I blame her, because I was confused, also. I felt as though I was missing something. I didn’t understand the motivation or rationalization behind the characters actions in some situations. There was quite a bit of internal dialogue but it was little rough. Kody’s was the most confusing but it gave me insight into why he was the was he was. You may need to reread a few sections to truly absorb the intricate thought process.

The characters were strong enough, though, that I needed to see what happened and how it all played out for them. I wanted to hug Kody, pounce on Mesa and shake Sammy. Oh, and I loved Mesa’s siblings! Canyon and Juniper were not only adorable names, but really great secondaries. The sex scenes between Kody, Sammy and Mesa were hot and well written, also.

Their story had a few rough spots but the characters were certainly not boring. I kept reading because I simply had to be sure they found their HEA. I’m glad I did. If you like a little biting, bickering, and growling with your wolfy sex then you’ll enjoy this book.

Lara McKee’s life came to a crashing halt the night her husband was killed in a carjacking and she lost their unborn child. Now she channels all her energy into her job as assistant to Cole Cassidy, sexy CEO of Alamo Construction. Cole’s own life is a mess. A shotgun marriage based on a lie and the fiery death of his wife on the highway have left him with a child to raise that’s a constant reminder of his first wife’s lies and deceit. Both of them have written marriage out of their future.

But Cole desperately needs someone to mother the child and take charge of his personal life. When he proposes a marriage of convenience to Lara, who still yearns for motherhood, she shocks herself by accepting. And so these two people, carrying a van load of emotional baggage, begin to build a life together under almost impossible circumstances. Conflict builds over the child, whom Lara falls in love with at once and Cole ignores.

Beneath the daily conflict, love unexpectedly begins to grow. But at the moment they dare to explore their feelings, anger over the child erupts and the night turns into a disaster that nearly destroys the marriage. Slowly, bit by bit, they begin to re build their relationship, carefully nurturing these new feelings. But it takes another near-tragedy before they can finally get past the hurdles to complete happiness and truly become a family.

Tara McKee’s life is about to be changed beyond anything she could possibly imagine. The gorgeous, lonely-but-finished-with-love widow; a competent secretary in a hugely successful construction company is about to get an offer that this childless, isolated woman cannot refuse from her boss, Cole Cassidy. The bargain: a marriage of convenience which will make her the surrogate mother to an adorable baby and assure permanent financial security for her and her parents.

Cole, who lost his wife months before, hasn’t been able to look at the baby left in his care ever since. The reasons for his attitude are a mystery that he firmly guards at all costs. Lost in the agony of his grief, he wants someone who will bring order to his life and a mother to his child. His rules include a ‘no intimacy’ clause.

When Tara sees the beautiful baby girl so neglected and alone, she agrees to his bargain and moves into his sprawling home immediately. What she doesn’t bargain for is the intense attraction and strong emotions she has for the black eyed, ruggedly handsome, lean and muscular six-foot-four-sexy-man that she marries within a week. The desire the two have for each other leads them through a minefield of erotic fantasies and carefully guarded feelings of growing passion as they dutifully stand by their bargain of a sexless marriage on into many months.

The secret star of the story is baby Molly. I love the way Ms. Holt made her the sweet key to the complicated problem the two lovers managed to construct. This is a tender, emotionally inspiring story of the creative and healing powers of love. Especially the love for a child. The sensitive way Ms. Holt brought about the opening of Cole’s wounded heart over time was beautiful and inspired hope. While this isn’t a new tale in romantic literature, Ms. Holt made it fresh and appealing with her irresistible story telling and realistically modern scenarios.

This lovely and absorbing tale is both a vividly erotic steaming-hot read and a sentimental tear jerker. Ms. Holt writes sex scenes that scorch the ink off the pages. The only reason I didn’t rate this story higher were the editing errors in the book. While it didn’t distract from my enjoyment of the story, I feel that it did reflect negatively on the publisher. While I’m saddened that such a wonderful story wasn’t given the editorial ‘respect’ that it deserved, I still do not hesitate to heartily recommend, The Bargain to all romance readers. This endearing story covers all the bases with a sweetly sophisticated and uplifting clarity and openness. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

It did not take me long to become enmeshed in the story line or the characters who won me over from the beginning when Christina took refuge on Lucas’ boat during a storm — only to wake up in the middle of the lake with no way to get back to shore. Watching her having to put up with a hardheaded man and fight seasickness made me laugh out loud a time or two. One thing for sure she could not run away unless she wanted to swim to the bank. I will add that the title of the book, Lies and Consequences, is a good description of the deception that goes on through out the story. One thing that kept popping into my head while reading was Murphy’s Law: “any thing that can go wrong will go wrong”. Believe me, both Christina and Lucas test that theory to the end.

This is one book that I am glad that I got my hands on and would recommend to my friends to read and one author whose book I am looking forward to purchasing.

Keenan Swanson is your typical, everyday graphic designer. Well, except for the hundreds of pesky, prank-loving poltergeists that make his life interesting (in a Chinese curse sort of way). He finds his situation precarious yet manageable—until witty, smoking-hot coworker Isabella enters the scene, and Keenan decides he wants her all for himself. With a horny succubus who has other ideas, a burly city cop determined to lock Keenan away, and an evil entity who’s hell-bent on using Keenan’s seed to create a living demon, the reluctant psychic realizes he just might not come out of this alive—or with his heart intact.

Bizarre and incomprehensible is just a way of life for Keenan Swanson. Having been able to see ghosts since his early teens, his life would be much too quiet without their constant chatter and annoyance to help pass the time. When his beautiful and seemingly unattainable co-worker suddenly begins returning his attentions, however, Keenan begins to believe that two is a more happy number. But will the ghosts go quietly? Or is there something more lurking in the darkness that even Keenan is aware of?

Keenan Swanson appears to be your average guy in every way until you get to know him just a little bit better. Despite the havoc the ghosts play both in his professional and private life, Keenan always finds a way to work with them. He feels like they’re a permanent fixture and has done all he can to make a place for them in his daily existence. He’s an extremely lovable character in that he takes everything, no matter how odd or unsettling. Isabella, on the other hand, is chaos on a stick. Steaming hot and not afraid to take what she wants, she’s set her sights on Keenan, knowing he’s not strong enough to resist. But then, why would he want to? She’s beautiful, she’s smart, and she’s entertaining. She’s also harboring a deep secret which will change both of their lives forever.

A Ghost of a Chance is an exciting, whirlwind adventure that will keep you guessing until the very end. The author has a knack for weaving subtle hints into the story that don’t reveal themselves until much later on. She’s also a whiz at twisting the storyline just enough to constantly keep you off balance and guessing, never quite sure if you know the secret or not.

One of the best ghost stories I’ve read in a very long time, A Ghost of a Chance is a mixture of comedy, romance, and suspense that will leave you wanting for more.

Determined to spread her grandmother’s ashes from the top of the Eiffel Tower, Angel embarks on a cross-country trip to Las Vegas. It’s not France, but it’s all her budget will allow. Too bad the screened observation deck hinders her plans, and when she attempts to slip her hands past the wire, the local authorities cuff her wrists.

With the last of her money used to pay fines and court fees, a complimentary food voucher leads her to a casino pub for a bite to eat. There, a late night proposition arises. Baring her breasts for a bit of cash seems simple enough, but three intriguing strangers change the odds and raise the stakes.

Angel discovers she doesn’t need Lady Luck when she’s got the Luck of the Irish. Laying all her cards on the table, she bets on a passionate night with Liam, Brody and Ryan. But come morning, the guys up the ante. The jackpot is tempting, but staying with the three men is the greatest gamble of her life and requires that she go all in.

Will Angel fold and leave Las Vegas as she arrived? Or will she add her heart to the pot and meet their ante?

If a reader is looking for a bit of fun, with a light plot but plenty of erotic heat then reading Las Vegas is like hitting the jackpot.

Angel is the heroine of the story and her sole purpose of being in Las Vegas is to reach the only Eiffel Tower she can afford to get to in order to fulfill her grandmother’s last wish. Things don’t go according to plan and she makes a decision that puts her in the path of a life changing event. Even the most poorly made choices don’t always have permanent dire consequences and Angel found out in a hurry, much to her and mine’s delight.

It’s told in first person point of view so a reader can follow Angel’s rationalization for every move she makes. The guys are hot to trot and full of dominant ideas on how to fulfill Angel’s fantasies. They assert themselves into her life early on and never stop. They’re like steamrollers and they want her in the worst way so anything goes. Of course, that’s half the fun of Las Vegas and the author was quite inventive.

As much as I enjoyed reading this tale and finished it in record time because I wanted to see what her hunky men would do next, there was a small weakness. There were only two edit blips so that’s no big deal. What left me puzzled was the impression I got that quite a few times when Angel had an internal monologue, either Liam or Brody heard her. At no time did I get the sense they were gifted with paranormal talents nor did Angel notice or remark about their amazing mind reading abilities yet that is how it presented. Otherwise, it’s an entertaining book with many well written scenes to satisfy the fans of light bondage and lovers of chocolate fun.

Las Vegas is simply an enjoyable read without any baggage or angst to drag it down. It’s a perfect little story for readers who are looking for a short shot of woo-hoo with optimistic overtones and a cute happily ever after that is just as saucy and hot as the rest of the book. I had a good time reading Las Vegas.

Who makes life-altering decisions based on a fortune cookie?

Sans her family and sans a job, Lilly Marie is completely alone in the world. With only a broken heart in tow, she has nothing to lose by packing it up and starting over in the sultry Big Easy. And after all she’s been through the past year, encountering an eccentric woman in Jackson Square and actually following her instructions to “step onto Bourbon Street and into her future” doesn’t seem so weird. Who is she to question “destiny” when she’d uprooted herself because of a tiny piece of paper tucked inside a cookie?

What Lilly doesn’t expect is for a hero to save her from a rampant bicyclist and whisk her away to a place called El Destino to meet his family— “family” being four of the handsomest men Lilly has ever seen. Whether it is fate or coincidence, the sizzling and sexy men of El Destino take her into their capable hands to prove that there is no such thing as happenstance, and that undeniable passion and true love can cure any ailment, including a broken heart.

The lure and mystery that flavors New Orleans enhances the magic that surrounds and heals a woman whose heart has fractured.

I’m not too sure if this story qualifies as paranormal but the characters in the story truly believe in the aspects of magic and its influence and, with the delightful telling of this tale, I’m inclined to agree.

New Orleans really does have at its heart a yearning for true love, one that will last and can be trusted. Lilly is a broken woman, her spirit is battered by the loss of her entire family and she’s struggling to survive – not just financially but emotionally as well. She tries so hard and a reader definitely gets the sense that she’s a fighter. The problem is that Lilly is almost out of the ammunition needed to keep on going so in a last ditch effort she follows what she thinks is a whim. But is it? That’s the magical aspect of it because she meets someone who guides her when she needs it the most and I liked how the author presented that scene. Lilly reminded me of a lost puppy because she responded so honestly and openly to this strange person. That person made me smile too because I could actually imagine the scene. Ms. Alex did a remarkable job of bringing to life a person with charm, wisdom and spunk, even for a character who was only on stage for a brief period.

First Lilly meets Manolin and soon after the rest of the guys. Ms. Alex has a deft hand at creating unique men with diverse and distinctive personalities that come off the page and into a reader’s heart. I liked Xavier and Rafael but my absolute favorite is “dark and sulky” José Antonio. For some reason he touched my heart the most. Maybe because he didn’t just jump right into the relationship, I’m not sure but he was a man who seemed to have the most to lose if she didn’t fall in love with all of them as a family.

I sensed that he was afraid and that made his character all the more endearing. I think he needed to be loved just as much as Lilly did.

The conflict is mostly internal – can she learn to trust that their love, all of theirs, is real and lasting? Sure the sex is like Cajun cooking, hot, smokin’ and delicious but it’s the emotional need that comes across in the writing that makes this story so romantic and heartfelt. This is a great read for erotic romance readers because it delivers with creative intensity but it has at its center the drive to love her and have her love them. They need it just as much as Lilly and it’s really beautiful watching it grow. I’d have liked to have reveled in their afterglow of love a bit longer but as it is, they have a nice happily ever after. The final wrap up was a bit different for an epilogue as it was done in the format of bullet points. The happily ever after is guaranteed and a reader gets to know it for sure, which was a nice touch.

New Orleans is a wonderful story that delivers on its romantic promise. The characters touched me and entertained me and made me feel warm and fuzzy. Well, after I cooled down from all that powerful physical bonding; those couplings were pretty volcanic in their intensity. Through it all however, New Orleans kept true to what the ultimate goal was – Lilly finding a love that she could trust and believe in and find joy in living life again. It was great and I’d recommend this to anyone who wants an uplifting story with spice.

What a time for a revelation!

The moment Prince Charming proposes, Addison London realizes that she is about to say “yes” to a lifetime of love, stability—and constancy—having never really lived her life to the fullest, and runs.

As a straight-laced good girl grown into a responsible, respectable woman, Addison is always prim and proper, and…well, boring. She always does the right thing, plays it safe, makes the right decisions, and suppresses her own longings to meet the expectations of others.

But she will have no regrets.

Before committing to a life wrapped in a white picket fence, she will have a little excitement and adventure, she will throw caution to the wind, and she will live out her most secret sexual fantasies—if only for a weekend.

Desperate to break free, she travels to Key West and surrounds herself with willing, gorgeous men. All she has to do is pick one. But with only one weekend in the tropical paradise, and one chance for a hedonistic experience meant to last a lifetime, she discovers that “one” is not enough.

After all, what happens in Key West stays in Key West, right?

If a reader is looking for a well written, explosive and imaginative ménage then travel no farther than Key West.

I’ll be honest. I usually need a bit more plot substance to my stories but this book was the perfect cure for me. I was reading a particularly gruesome romantic suspense and I really needed some balance so I started reading Key West in the middle of it. The experience was like having cotton candy, Hot Tamales and my pick of the Chippendales all rolled into one scorching and very fun sexual adventure. It made me feel happy, relaxed, excited and it turned out to be an awesome little book with a few clever twists and surprises that really rang my chimes.

Addison is a woman who practically gives herself her own bachelorette party if she but knew it. It’s not what she sets out to do but it sure came across that way to me. I think she was actually pretty courageous and wise to realize that she needed to take the action she did before regret got stuck in her psyche with “what-ifs” to haunt her later in life. It’s a great catharsis for her and a lot more fun than those epiphanies usually are. The thing that cracked me up was her one-liners that gave voice to what a lot of readers complain about with heroines. The author was incredibly clever in using them as comedic foils in Addison’s internal dialogue. I chuckled every time I came across one. Ms. Alex obviously has been taking the pulse of romance readers and used them in a unique way with her heroine. I adored Addison for it.

When she starts meeting the guys, I was remarking on her incredible luck for finding really hot, decent and really talented men to help her with her goals. Each one would have had me melting in a puddle at their feet. I actually could relate to Addison’s initial reticence, her shyness and bit of confusion, but then her eventual opening up like an exotic flower to bloom and experience the fullness that life has to offer was a wonderful reading experience. I enjoyed myself immensely as the story unfolded.

West and Miami completely had me hooked. The descriptions of their actions and the words they say gave me delighted shivers. I cracked up at “Captain Sex” but my giggles quickly turned to ‘ooohs’ because what happened next was pure heat and my libido popped up and took notice. Ms. Alex has a real talent for writing these scenes and they should satisfy any reader of erotic romance. I know I was.

The twist is what made this book romantic. It gave meaning and substance to the reason Addison was in Key West in the first place. I never saw it coming and it made this book a solidly enjoyable read. As a rule I don’t mention covers but I have to say that this book’s cover truly embodies the ‘wow’ factor that I found in this story. I can’t mention who I think is who because it’s all a matter of opinion but I certainly know who I want each man to be and I find them drool-worthy and it helped visualize the action. Which means, of course, I needed the A/C on high.

If a reader is in the doldrums or having a bad day and needs a pick-me-up, Key West is the answer. I’m so very glad I read this book and absolutely recommend it to readers of erotic romance who enjoy stories about a woman discovering her inner sensual explorer. Key West is a fun, lava hot and a very well done tale with a happily ever after that satisfies.

Chris has been through hell, is about to be homeless, and her situation is showing no signs of improvement. She knows there is no such thing as a knight in shining armor—she learned that the hard way. Now she’s on the brink of total disaster with no champion to save her.

Tonio is being shoved toward an unwelcome, unwanted marriage, and is quickly running out of options. It boils down to a choice between getting hogtied to a woman he can’t stand, or quickly finding an attractive substitute who can be the band-aid he needs, without becoming a full-body cast.

When Chris and Tonio meet, fate intervenes with a vengeance. They each make assumptions about the other’s lifestyle choices, and assume that a no strings attached relationship between them is the perfect solution. But you know what they say happens when you assume…

If there’s one thing to say about the indelible Fran Lee, it’s this–the girl knows how to write zany romance with the most memorable characters imaginable! In Dictated By Fate, she manages to twist our hero and heroine like human pretzels using a case of mistaken sexual preference that works as the hook, line, and sinker. He needs a wife. She needs a solution to her money problems. She thinks he’s gay. He thinks she’s gay. The muscles of that region is getting lots of blood is entering in to the veins and arteries of it allow lots of blood to flow that helps to increase the toughness of the penis. purchase cheap cialis is wonderful medicine that is decided by an expert committee and is understood internationally. Too bad neither of them can seem to keep their hands to themselves despite their best intentions. Hilarity, obviously, is bound to ensue, and you’ll snicker and snort in delight as you take the journey.

From the moment I met Chris, I loved her. She’s down on her luck, but remains optimistic despite the circumstances determined to drown her. Her snarky sense of humor will keep you in stitches, while her vulnerability will remind you that even the strongest of us have weaknesses. It takes a man like the uber-sexy Tonio to bring out the inner-vixen Chris has kept hidden behind too-large T-shirts and baggy blue jeans. Much like our heroine, Tonio is equally impossible to resist. A broken heart and the legalities that are forcing him into a marriage upon his father’s death have hardened him, but meeting the right woman is all it takes to crack that steely exterior and reveal the gem within.

It takes some time for the two to tangle and wrangle, but when they do, sparks–and barbs–most certainly do fly. I kept waiting for the big sexual “reveal” and wasn’t disappointed when it arrived. While the sex is sizzling, it’s the witty dialogue and sharp writing that compels and keeps you turning those pages.

Fran Lee fans will not be disappointed with this one. Don’t forget to put Dictated by Fate on your TBR list.

Three months is way too long to wait for some simple, low-down, straight forward sex. It’s not like Officer Chrissie Hansen is asking for prince charming to offer her the love of a lifetime. All she wants is a good orgasm that she doesn’t have to work for alone.

At least with “the Bull”, she knows what to expect. But when Patrick MacKlick returns to her life and tempts her with new options, she discovers that lace can imprison a heart better than handcuffs can.

Officer Chrissie Hansen has not had sex for over three months. When her ex, Bill the Bull, returns to town she thinks her drought just might be over as they make plans to get together. But the return of her longtime friend, Patrick MacKlick throws a kink into her plan and distracts her. So I might start it off like this:”It’s lowest priced cialis come to my attention that you’re about to reply to the guy above me in your inbox. If it’s a repeating theme, cheap tadalafil india seek some professional help. 3. Time has changed both Chrissie and Patrick and suddenly Chrissie sees her best friend in a whole new light. However, this budding attraction could affect her relationship with Bill.

Cuff Me Lacy was a well-written and steamy read with characters I really liked. I especially loved the characters of Chrissie and Patrick, the main characters of the story, and enjoyed watching their relationship grow and change. Chrissie is a strong character and with the return of both Bill and Patrick, she faces a dilemma as she realizes what she thought she wanted might not be what she needs. The author did a great job of making Chrissie’s dilemma and how she handled it believable. The reactions of both Bill and Patrick were also well-done and believable and I could easily understand the difficulty of Chrissie’s choice as both men were great characters.

Cuff Me Lacy is a fun and quick read that I would definitely recommend.
