There are times in life when things just click into place and times when nothing goes right at all. Shawn Lane’s story, The Right Time for Love, strikes a chord and is a worthy read. The writing is tight and the story line interesting. These two guys have their hits and misses, but how they sort things out…that’s the question.

Skylar is an interesting character. He’s mostly happy, but not entirely and hardworking. I liked him and wanted to see him get his happily ever after. I loved how he was forward with Trevor. It was sweet and I wanted to hug him.

Trevor is a great character, too. He knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to go after it.

The thing with this story is the journey. There are fits, hiccups and moments where I wasn’t sure what would happen next. I thought about them after I closed the book and hope to see them again.

All in all, a good read.
