My brother is dead, executed at the hand of my beautiful and fierce snow leopard mate, Chen Daiyu. But Norkad was a pawn in a bigger game, and chose death over helping me protect my female. I want to resurrect him just to kill him all over again.

The bond between me and my elegant, deadly mate grows stronger every minute, until we know each other better than we know ourselves. She is perfection, body and spirit, and in her feral desires that heat the blood in my veins.

But there are those who would use my Daiyu for their own purposes. And when they take her from me, nothing will stand in the way of getting her back. For her, I would destroy worlds and dance in the ashes.

Daiyu and Dakar are mated. The Snow Leopard clan is saved. All is good, right? Wrong! Not knowing who Norkad was working with leaves them in a precarious position. The few humans that are left on earth need to be found and rescued. The shifters need convincing to travel to Ximera. Still so much to do.

This is the fourth book in the series, and it absolutely should be read after The Leopard Mage. The story follows on from where that one left off, and we get to see some of the issues and problems Daiyu and Dakar have to deal with.

Told from both Daiyu and Dakar’s perspectives, you once again are immersed into a well-woven world, full of amazing characters you know, and delectable hints of those yet to come. These books are of a very high standard, with no errors that disrupted me. With a strong storyline and hot and sexy times too, I have no hesitation in recommending this book, or the series.
