Philip Thornton only wanted to help his frigid wife enjoy their marriage bed.

Lillian agreed, but once freed from her past, hadn’t expected such a fierce transformation.

Aria was paid to educate and entice, but what she found was more than she ever dreamed possible.

The Parisian Exposition of 1889…the world is changing and the three of them are caught in its whirl. Philip and Lillian went to Paris to save their marriage and to help Lillian overcome her fears. Aria danced and seduced Lillian, but before Lillian left, Aria found herself seduced, in turn, by the beautiful Englishwoman.

When Philip and Lillian break all the rules and escort Aria around Paris for a week, will it be the beginning of their future? Or will this seductive interlude be nothing more than a dream?

Philip wanted to help his wife warm to his touch, he never expected he’d be the one to get burned.

Philip and Lillian Thornton are newlyweds on their honeymoon in Paris. Philip had hoped that the sights and sounds of the French city would help Lillian loosen up when it came to their marriage bed. Their still cold marriage bed. Whenever Philip comes near or touches Lillian she freezes up and shuts down on him. At the end of his rope, Philip leaves his wife behind at the Parisian Exposition after she refuses to watch an erotic dance show with him. Little did he know that entering the tent would forever change his life.

Lillian loves her husband, but a tragic event in her past stops her from fully opening to Phillip and allowing their marriage to be consummated. Lillian offers to allow him to seek his pleasures elsewhere. But Phillip has other ideas for her and, desperate to please him, she agrees. Enter Aria, a paid companion who is part of the erotic dance group Phillip has seen earlier. After making an agreement with the madam, Lillian has been offered a stay with Aria and learn all the secrets to pleasure so she may return to her husband and be a proper wife.

Once Aria learns the reason behind Lillian’s behavior, the floodgates open and Lillian’s true passionate self shines through. Surprised at the change, both women find themselves lost in a haze of lust and eroticism. But eventually it’s time go back to the waiting husband to share her new findings, and Lillian can’t leave Aria behind. Once home, she begs Phillip to include Aria in their new love life to begin with. Though reluctant, he agrees to please his wife and when the three come together, the sparks fly and lust explodes. What Phillip never planned on were his feelings for the woman who helped bring out the Lillian he knew was hiding.

I’ll admit that while I am not an avid reader of girl on girl loving, this book and the scenes between the women were very sexy and sensual while being meaningful. I really enjoyed the relationship between the two, and then when Phillip came into the picture the dynamic changed yet remained the same. I think the author did a really good job of that. When the three were engaged with each other, you could feel the heat come off the page! Wow! The love scenes had an urgent, almost frantic tone to them. I’m not sure if it was intentional or not, but it worked. My only complaint is that I felt the characters were a little too thin for the depth of emotion we saw.

But overall, it was a very sexy read and I would suggestion a fan and ice water on hand when it’s read. The next in the series should be a fun, hot read, just as this was.
