This story focuses on the sexy Dalton McKay and his childhood sweetie, Aurora “Rory” Wetzler. Rory was the one person Dalton could run to when his childhood life became unbearable. Now Dalton has grown and matured but is it enough to convince Rory that he is finally ready to play for keeps? When bridges seemed burned, can one go home again?

I have loved almost all of these books in this series and this one is on the top of my favorites list as well. Since these novels have centered around one family, I do recommend reading the series in order if you can to get the feel of the family dramatics in full. We continue in each book to get glimpses of past favorite characters as they continue to interact with our present heartthrobs. These romances are electric and sizzle with extreme heat. When the author reveals the character’s tragic childhood memories, I found myself sobbing for Dalton as well as for his family. I love that this book made me laugh, cry and sigh. Many twists and turns in this well written saga kept my interest piqued and my imagination fueled. Ms. James is an exceptional writer and I am thrilled to be one of the bookworms who has the privilege of reviewing this gripping yet charming narrative.

Quite simply Redneck Romeo is a fantastic read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I am definitely a cheerleader in Ms. James’ fan club. I found no editing mistakes and that alone was a “wow” moment for me. I cannot express enough how thrilled I was that this tale continued to enlighten the readers to the McKay’s family past woes. I felt as though I was catching up with old friends as well as discovering secrets from the present book-cast. I applaud Ms. James for supplying this reader with a wonderfully illustrated fictional story that I will want to “pull-out” and read again in the future.

Looking for a hot romantic cowboy who can charm the pants off of his lady-love? Well Dalton McKay may be your dream-man in Redneck Romeo!
