What’s not to like about being the center of attention, or being the whole world for not just one but four dominate males? The heroine in this short has a track record for finding men in all the wrong places so it was easy to understand why she was hesitant to believe that these guys were sincere initially. Their story is hot and sweet all at the same time.
Tawni has made it as a member of an elite SWAT team, though she is still earning her stripes, so to speak. I adored her and her need to prove herself as well as knowing just how much to push. After all Tawni is the only female in her SWAT team that is full of prior Marines.
The men are just that. All men. As in they are the definition of alpha male.
BDSM reads are intriguing to read, more so for someone in the lifestyle. Readers can gauge the story and contents by their own experiences. This one meets pretty much what I’d consider BDSM standards (keep in mind the length of the book)… each of the four Doms were shown as caring and protective. They proved that a Dom can give a sub what she needs without crossing the line and being a jerk.
This was a short read, the story flowed well and characters were very believable.
I loved the interaction between all four males. There were two big win points for me: when Nico asked Tawni a question, she nodded… but he made her voice what she wanted. That meant something to me because it showed that the writer understood that communication was key to a D/s relationship. The second win point… comes almost at the end of the book. I really can’t say what it was without giving away the conclusion, but it’s an important part.
Suffice it to say this was a well written short story and I loved it. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good ménage, BDSM themed story.
