This is Book 2 of the Boston Stone Sentries and Part 2 of the Rise of the Fire Witch. The story picks up from where Book 1 ended and the adventure continues.

This is an action packed book with Larissa, Roman and his team as they try to protect Janie, Larissa’s best friend. I loved that this book had more action and magic than the first one, with Larissa trying to learn about her powers as well as her heritage. This aspect of the story was definitely the highlight. It showed their characters more and the climax was well worth it.

The book, and the story as a whole, kept me well entertained. For me the action, magic, and romance was paced perfectly for this book. It made me come back again and again just to read what happens next and the next after that. I found it hard to put down. Great read!
