Laura is a feisty one to handle; as much as she craves submission she struggles with balancing that with the high-powered job she has. The author handles these insecurities really well and I’m sure many women who find themselves in this position would relate to these emotions.

I enjoyed the flow of the story and certainly the characters were hot and sexy. At times I felt like Nick was reading from a How To BDSM Manual, he was so careful to say everything correct and be sure that safety was the priority (which of course it is) but sometimes it was too smooth. I would have liked to see him a little unsure or struggle just once.  This was, after all, his first time in a Dom role with Laura.

The sex scenes were off-the-scale steamy. Ms Carson sure writes `em hot, much to my delight.
