While guarding Susan, he finds the past and present colliding, and begins to examine their relationship with a greater understanding of what happened between them years ago. But none of that changes the fact that his life is in Texas while Susan’s is in New York.

Susan has accomplished her lifelong dream of becoming a star. She spends what little free time she has back on the family ranch and she shares a very close relationship with her three sisters. When she is forced to head back to the ranch for her safety, she begins to appreciate what she has sacrificed for her successful career. Going back to New York, she is forced to re-evaluate her goals when she discovers how much she misses Teddy and her extended family.

Ms. Adams keeps the sexual tension high as Teddy and Susan get this close to consummating their relationship only to be interrupted time and again. But, boy oh boy, when they finally do the deed, it was so worth the wait!

The Cowboy’s Duet by Roni Adams is an incredibly sensual read with highly engaging characters and a compelling plot. And the sneak peak of the next book in the Double B series? Let’s just say, this reviewer absolutely, positively cannot wait for its release!
