Hoe-de-doe! What a vivid picture! I had no idea I could find a green skinned, forked tongued man sexy, but I did. The author’s ability to provide descriptions of beings and animals not known to exist is wonderful. The hero and heroine were both memorable characters. The only issue I had with the story was the ease with which the hero was able to seduce the heroine. Here she is, kidnapped the day before her wedding, stolen away from the man she loves and has loved her entire life. The kidnapper tells her he plans to impregnate her and send her back to her husband to be, and the next thing you know she is begging the hero to take her!
Okay… so maybe I found the story a little hard to believe, the conflict a little thin, but it was still a very imaginative, well written story. Ms Marquis, I find your ease of story telling refreshing and bold. I look forward to reading more from you in the future.
