Anyone who enjoys fairy tales and the like will definitely enjoy this short story. Evangeline Anderson writes about a wondrous world full of villains, curses and, of course, love. I was pulled in to this world from the very first page.

Gisella may be a young woman but she is very smart and willing to do what she must to survive. I had to admire her determination. Her hero Tristan is an alpha male who has given up all hope of finding that one woman who will break his curse. He may turn into a beast but in his heart he is a warm and caring man. As he shows with his reluctance to have Gisella the only woman who has ever treated him with kindness to try and break the curse. I loved that he fought being a slave to his beast. The reader goes through all of Gisella’s emotions with her and hopes that she can break Tristan’s curse. Gisella finds her bravery and in turn may find her true love.

This romantic story shows the reader that if you have faith you may find your happy ever after in the last place you think. This short story was a good read and should not be missed.
