A night of passion leaves her breathless, yet, as much as she longs for more, she fears Michael’s reaction when he learns the true reason she was at the exclusive gathering in the first place. Unwilling to take the chance of losing him by coming clean, she explores her passion, embraces the moment, and tries to think of a way to do her job without alienating the man of her dreams.

It doesn’t necessarily deter from the enjoyment of the material, but rather, was an observation I had while reading. As captivating as Michael appears through Alexandra’s words and eyes, I would have enjoyed some time in his head. You do get a sense of his emotions, but he’s one sexy piece of man, and I would have loved to have gotten to know him on a deeper level.
