Mykael knows that his co-pilot is also his bond-mate, but she refuses to acknowledge it, and his patience is running out. Megan doesn’t want to settle down, but she has no problems using the Imperial were-panther to sate her sexual urges. When their ship malfunctions they are forced to land on a primitive planet, where they find themselves exploring more than the unique landscape.

What’s a man to do when he knows he’s with his mate and she loves making love to him, but she’s scared to death to admit that she’s his mate?

Hope the Mating Frenzy will aid the situation.

Anne Kane writes intriguing sci-fi stories with tight writing that grips the reader right away. This book was no different.

I wasn’t totally sure why Mykael’s status as a werepanther was under wraps, but I loved that he knew Megan was his mate and couldn’t do anything to make her commit. The chase was funny and touching to read. Plus, his internal struggle was easy for me to relate to — he knew what he wanted: her. But getting her to just say yes to him made him want to rip his fur out, which made me laugh out loud. But Mykael made a great hero, too. He could’ve pushed her. He could’ve been a jerk, but his love for her showed in everything he did. Maybe he wasn’t the most romantic man, but he thought of her and her safety and that was sexy.

As for Megan…she’s a heroine to watch. She could’ve fallen apart at the seams when they hit the meteor shower. But, no, she trusted him. I liked seeing her progression through the story as she came into her own and realized the changes weren’t all for the worse. Plus, to see her admit her fears was really sweet — everyone has moments they aren’t ready to deal with and her bit of temerity made her more human to me.

If you want a story with lots of red-hot panther lovin’, then you need to read Mating Frenzy. I give it 4 cherries.
