Chevaunne is abducted by three brothers who take her to a new world where brothers share one wife, who is their treasured possession. Jim, Sam, and Paul have waited years to find the perfect woman, and when they see Chevaunne, they know immediately she is the one for them.

After a mind-blowing night with the three men, Chevaunne marries them the next day in front of the entire community. Now she has to learn a totally new life—a new culture, new ways of doing everything. But the sex is amazing, her men are considerate and loving, and Chevaunne is making friends and settling in.

Soon, though, she begins to wonder if she’s losing her mind. No matter how happy she is, she was kidnapped, after all! What was she thinking when she agreed to stay?

A planned kidnapping finds Chavaunne being seduced and wedded to not one, not two, but three brothers within 24 hours. Following tradition the three brothers — Jim, Sam, and Paul — abduct and seduce the woman they want to marry. However, even though sex with three men is great, Chavaunne spends a lot of time running through what ifs and wondering if she is suffering from Stockholm syndrome or is just plain crazy. I must admit that I liked where the author was coming from in the plot and enjoyed her imagination and the unique idea of a hidden community, almost like a world within the world — a commune of people who all live by the old Tibetan ways. They work together to have a life of peace and harmony and where polyandry is allowed. The people of New Thimphu live underground to hide their numbers, customs, and wealth from the towns around them. I thought it was really cool watching Chavaunne learn about these traditions, and their way of life while trying to come to terms with being abducted and having three husbands. Boy, if I could find three spouses like these I could get used to having three men waiting on me hand and foot, no more house work and three bed warmers.

For a short read I found the story skillfully written with good editing for the most part, very entertaining and hot enough to get the endorphins and adrenaline running in the blood. I think it is a nice read, maybe pool side so you’d have a lot of cool water around to take care of the heat. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a cheerful and tension free read. It might not be one of those books I would read over and over again, but was worth reading once and adding the author to my lookout list for more of her books.
