Sexy Summer Fun

When people find out I live in Alaska, they often ask me how I stand the winters. It’s a good question. Sure, it’s beautiful and if you like snow, you’re set for a solid seven months’ worth. But what really gets us through the winters (aside from trips to Hawaii) is the anticipation of summer.

Alaska summers are unbelievably, deliriously lovely. Where we live, it stays light until 2 in the morning, then gets light again a couple hours later. It’s never too hot, the sunshine is brilliant, the air is fresh … and the fishing is fabulous. Think fishing isn’t sexy?

Wrong. So wrong.
This summer we’ve had record setting salmon runs and our freezer is already full of halibut, rockfish and sockeye for the winter. Fishermen have been going out early and coming back happy. People are already telling stories about how they stood in the river and felt salmon swarming and pushing against their hip waders. The Summer of 2011 will go down in history as one of the best Alaska fishing seasons in memory.
So what summer fun have you been having? More importantly, can it be done in the nude?
And lest I forget, my newest release is Restraining the Receptionist. Here’s a blurb and a link to an excerpt.

Every deal has a loophole.

…the Receptionist, Book 2

Dana Arthur’s new job with the firm of Cowell & Dirk is going well. Translation: the occasionally kinky ménage with her two bosses, Ethan and Simon, has been several months of politically incorrect bliss.

Except the relationship feels unbalanced. While Ethan is the undisputed master, the partners’ iron-clad agreement stipulates that Simon must be present as she performs her “duties”. And she senses there’s a subtle, powerful tug-of-war developing for more than just her body.

Simon had agreed to share the firm’s fiery, sensually daring receptionist…to a point. With Simon out of town, Ethan plans a feast of erotic temptations designed to have Dana begging him to break the deal. He didn’t realize his heart would be a casualty.

Once she surrenders to his wicked demands, Dana realizes there’s no going back. It’s time for a three-way renegotiation…this time, all or nothing.

  5. Cathy – Family get-togethers are the best! Definitely not to be attended nude, of course. LOL. We had a bunch of family up for a fishing vacation, it was a blast.

  6. Alaska is one of the places I want to visit one day. I saw it from a cruise perspective on TV and loved how scenic everything is. I’ve been having a lot of summer fun spending time with family and having barbecues. Not sure if I would forego clothing though considering the audience. I love the smell of charocal and the food sizzling on it.

  7. Wow, he’s beautiful! I rent a place at the beach with my loved one! Very naked!
