Maria-Claire here! While we all know Jimmy Thomas never fails to get the creative…hmmm…”juices” flowing, I’d like your opinion. Below: JT as Dr. Travis Bredelowe. On your right: JT as Logan, Earl of Davenport. If you had to choose just one (and you don’t! Read both stories :). which is YOUR preference?
Sex, Science & “Mugasmic” Inspiration

My science background and interests generally provide inspiration for the back-story to my romances since I find science — and scientists — hot 🙂 Hey, give a nerd a ride! Mmmmhmmm…!
String theory plays a role in Unstrung while the Mobius phenomenon makes an appearance in Bending Tyme. Nope, you don’t have to understand anything about either to enjoy the stories 🙂 That’s my job: to weave those elements into each story so you forget about the science and just focus on how those elements make for some amazing sex 🙂 I’m still uploading more information about the sexy science motivating my characters; check by my website often for updates and to let me know what you think.
Are you as attached to your iPod or other choice of player as I am? I develop a play-list for every story I write. From my Unstrung play-list, The Smithereens’ “A Girl Like You” sums up, for me, the brilliant Travis’ absolute passion for his wife. Yeah, it’s true: even the world’s top research scientist has insecurities and Cara accepts his — not to mention their shared enjoyment of all things bondage-related 😉
Writing Bending Tyme resulted in one of my all-time favorite play-lists. In one pivotal love scene, I hear Darius Rucker singing “History in the Making” (excerpts forthcoming once my editor gives me the green light, so stop by my website in another week or two :).
I always imagine a theme song too. For Unstrung, Michelle Branch’s “All You Wanted” sums up the closing scene from Cara’s perspective. For Bending Tyme, Foreigner’s “Until the End of Time” makes a perfect fit with what I envision Logan feels.
Check out the tunes and stop by my site or my blog and let me know what you think 🙂
