The relationship between the three characters was quite fascinating to watch unfold. Bobby and Cale are best friends…friends with benefits as they are used to spending months alone in their cabin as well as sharing the occasional female. They are both attracted to Kate and a bit confused by the unexpected feelings she stirs in them as they never thought to share a woman for more than one night of fun. Cale especially touched me as he is a bit insecure and unsure of himself as he compares himself to Bobby. Each has a very different personality, but they play off of one another perfectly.
While the men struggle with their own feelings, Kate is also a bit overwhelmed by all that the men make her feel and is unsure of what to do about these growing feelings. The author did a wonderful job at creating this relationship and I couldn’t wait to see how things would turn out. The passion between the three heats up the pages, but the emotion is also there making it even more enjoyable to read.
This was a very quick read and I would have loved to have seen a bit more of each of their backgrounds and time together, but overall it was an entertaining read full of passion.
