What I had an issue with was some of the heroine’s actions. I liked that she had gumption and didn’t take guff from her compatriots on the circuit. But, there were times when she wasn’t fun to read — like she thought more about her body needs than her emotional needs. I understand why she did, but I didn’t agree with it and it took a little away from her story.

The hero, Bo, piqued my interest because he worked the tall, dark, and handsome angle well. But, I thought he acted a bit wishy-washy at times and wanted to see him just go for her. Take what he wanted. But when he did finally make his move, it was really sexy and full of passion aimed at no one but her. If you want a short story that packs an emotional punch, then you need to read Riding Double. I give it 3 cherries.
