I really enjoyed this brief tale of friendship turned romantic love. This was a quickie read that gets your engine revving and puts a smile on your face. Maggie has her reasons for avoiding a physical relationship with Max, despite the tension that zings between them at every opportunity, but she realizes that only Max can be there for her in the way she needs. I wanted to know if they did in fact “survive the trap”. But, the implied HEA will have to be enough for me… *sigh*. This was a fun story and one that I would recommend if you are looking for a quick read that will leave you with a smile.
