Pasts are best left behind, hidden deep in your memory—that is where I buried mine. The feel of his hands and mouth on my body, the height of sensuality I reached beneath his touch. I’d fought so hard to forget—how could just the sight of him bring it all back, forcing me to become lost in him? Again.

Years before I had watched him, craved him—a guitarist in a band riding the wave to stardom—my brother’s best friend. On the verge of womanhood, I never dared to reveal how I yearned. Until a cold New Year’s Eve when I offered myself as the woman I’d become, bringing to fruition the deepest of wants. As that night turned, so did my life. Devastatingly so. I never dreamed I’d become another of his one night stands.

Can pasts be exorcised if they come back to haunt you? And when a notorious playboy who broke your heart offers you his…how do you know if he’s playing for keeps?

Emma had always idolized her brothers best friend, Christian. Ever since she was little she followed him around like a little puppy. At eighteen-years-old and no longer a little girl, she offered herself to Christian and he accepted. The next day, he was gone. Devastated, Emma vowed never again would she ever throw herself at him. To Emma, Christian was in her past–until one day, he shows up in her life once more. Can Emma and Christian let go of the past, live in the present and look forward to a future together?

Emma’s character was intriguing, funny, and sensual. She tries so hard not be affected by Christian but his personality and sensuality is just too much for her to resist. Emma’s attraction never faded for Christian because she could never stop thinking about the boy she loved, and who broke her heart. Unless you won t discuss about what is affecting you or troubling you no one would possibly get it so you should make it a point that you discuss each and every detail as the doctor needs to know about it. free cialis sample Improvement in the blood flow to the male organ using Saffron lowest priced viagra M Power oil regularly two to three times daily for 2 to 3 months. viagra effects Alpha blockers are prescribed for those who is suffering from high BP or diabetes. I adored these two characters and I was turning the pages just as fast as I could to find out what would happen with them next. The fact that they were together years earlier made it just that much sweeter when they made love. The chemistry that Emma and Christian share is amazing. The twist in the story towards the end was outstanding. I didn’t see it coming. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

Playing for Keeps was a highly engaging story that I got totally wrapped up in. I thought it was a refreshing change to see the story from both Emma and Christian’s point of view. It brought it to another level. I felt myself able to see the story from more than just one direction. Devon Gray did a masterful job with Playing for Keeps. She had me intrigued from the first page through to the last. Her style of writing had me hooked and wondering why more authors didn’t write like this. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting a refreshing change from just an average romance book. I look forward to reading more of her work. Devon Gray stepped out of the norm and produced an excellent piece of work.
