I enjoyed watching as they discussed their work and common interests and developed a relationship with one another. Lucius’s skepticism and anger once he discovers Elizabeth’s purpose for being on the island was interesting and I enjoyed how Elizabeth explained romances and the amount of research she has to do. The passion between the two definitely heats up the pages.

Although there were a few things left unanswered, and I would have loved to know more about what happened to both couples, Pirate’s Booty was a quick, enjoyable read that I was sad to see end.
