Desiree may have lusted after Set from afar for months, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to go willingly with the behemoth of a man spouting a whole bunch of garbage about immortality, an ancient Egyptian god and her destiny as his mate. No doubt he’s two bricks short of a load. But when they touch, passion like she’s never known consumes her. Perhaps he’s not so crazy after all…

You can’t help but feel for Set as he struggles to convince Desiree of her importance in his life. But you’ll also find yourself connecting with Desiree’s feelings of defiance. After all, she’s been taken and held against her will. Of course, maybe some of us wouldn’t mind being her situation. You have a gorgeous man who wants to make his own for all eternity, could be worse. I loved the story and can’t wait to dive into book three of Ra’s Chosen.
If book one was enough to whet your whistle, then you better go ahead and get book two, Mate Hunger. Of course, if you’re new to Ms. Chenery’s Ra’s Chosen series, don’t fret, you can easily pick up with this one and not miss a thing. I must warn you though, her warriors are addicting and you’ll likely find yourself wanting them all for your own.
