Captain Nora Bradley has full intentions of keeping her relationship with former classmate, and now First Officer, Robert Smith, purely professional when she hires him. Things begin to change, however, after bodiless invaders seduce the crew in their dreams, the entire ship becomes infected with a space flu that leads to orgiastic frenzy, and encounters with new alien races challenge all they know about sexual identity and social ideals.

As the crew endures, Nora can’t help but profess her feelings for Robert . . . but can their love endure a mix-up with shape-shifters, the unexpected takeover of their ship, and intergalactic war?

Lust in Space is an extraordinary adventure where a reader gets to experience the perils, shocks and surprises found in deep space. Add in some truly inspired erotic and titillating relationships and you are in for a wild voyage.

The first thing that hit me is the character roster. Ms. Lane has written a smorgasbord of delight for any reader who enjoys the unusual, the imaginative and the bold. Alien experiences abound and the author’s depiction of creative bed play will keep you turning the pages. With so many different people on the bridge, that is a lot of ground to cover and clothes to wash.

The story is not without its share of humor and acknowledgement of the space-going adventure series that we’ve been privy to over the past few decades. There is even a clever tweak using a famous author’s name that I didn’t catch until the end of the book. I giggled when I figured it out. And if it was unintentional, well, certainly Mr. Freud would have something to say about that.

My favorite characters are really tiny secondary characters and at times I felt they stole the limelight. I enjoyed reading Ms. Lane’s very kinky and erotic relationship between Jim and Leah. I definitely laughed out loud when the Captain first met the alien trio. Relevantly, this move is aimed at helping ED-effected men to be away cheapest levitra from embarrassment. The Normal Erection Process Explained When cheapest levitra sexually aroused, the nerves in the brain send impulses to the genital area. From cialis samples visit these guys the above explanation, we can see that the combination of food consumption and specific exercise to promote penis growth. As hardness of the dick is paramount in having a fulfilling experienced, volume of levitra super active ascertain it in a huge state. I could relate.

The strongest romantic thread is between Captain Bradley and First Officer Smith. Just like my favorite sci-fi fantasy show, the romance grows between all the chaos and responsibilities of ship life. Little side trips with the bridge crew create the bond that allows them to survive the many challenges facing them. Ultimately, the ones that realize true love are the ones the aliens inadvertently acted like a mirror for – sometimes it’s hard to recognize what is in front of you until someone shoves your face in it. Ms. Lane threw them a whammy.

I accepted easily enough the fantastic science behind some of the technology in Ms. Lane’s world. The only aspect I found annoying were some of the editing glitches. A couple of them are so silly, they are like brain neons – you can’t miss them. For me, the mistakes were like an itch, one I could read right through while scratching at the annoyance. I was having so much fun reading, I didn’t like the interruption.

Fun is the operative word. Lust in Space has so much to offer, from new alien virus attacks, good/bad alien attacks, emotional angst, fits of drunken excess and all out brawls. Ms. Lane embraced all that we love about sci-fi fantasy and heated it up to super-nova proportions. When Bradley and Smith finally get together, it’s not a surprise because, as you know, resistance is futile. My question for Ms. Lane is, is this a long term mission? If so, I’m applying for a boarding pass.
