Jin Bosun enjoys her life on the Raven’s Rest station above Jotunheim. Her Terran mother, Myka, encouraged her to go out and meet new people. She has the perfect partners, Terran descended elementals like herself, so they opened a bar together. Elymyntyl. When the lord of Jotunheim puts a price on their bodies and their bar, Jin is worried. When folks start arriving to claim that price, she is caught off guard. Rescued by Ragnar, a fire giant from the planet below, Jin finds herself in protective custody and things are getting hot.

Just when I’m sure Viola Grace has reached the boundaries of her imagination, she surprises me with a new world to explore.

Raven’s Rest station, above the planet Jotunheim, is the adopted home of Djihntalia “Jin” Bosun and her two closest friends, Solial Kellan and Fehniel, of Aleyn by Baileez of Hickom. The three own and operate the bar, Elymyntyl. These three are elementals, and each talent complements the others. Jin is half Terran, half Dremari and is a water elemental. When someone on the planet below puts a price on their business and their bodies, they have to close up shop and hide for a while. Jin is rescued by a fire giant, and before long, the attraction between Jin and Ragnar gets steamy. But there are secrets here that may cause hurt feelings and anger if not handled correctly. Can there be a future for a water elemental and a fire giant? Will the secrets and deceptions ruin their chances at a life together before it begins?

Liquid Heat is the first book in her Elymyntyls miniseries, and is the first book of the Gaia Group, daughters of the Terran Times. These are new characters, with talents and abilities a bit different from their parents, and a different outlook on life. Spinal manipulative therapies are widely used by the customers across the world. viagra generic canada Thus generic prescription viagra without it aid in keeping this chemical inactive for longer. I enjoyed this first look at the children of some of my favorite characters from books past.

This is Jin’s story. I like her, as she is spirited and independent. She is able to take care of herself, and can think on her feet. When she faces off against two fire giants, she isn’t intimidated. I liked when she was able to actually communicate with the newly sentient planet as well, it added an interesting angle to the story.

Ragnar is the fire giant that rescues Jin, and who keeps her “safe” from his cousin. He is handsome and intelligent, and knows that she is his destined mate. I enjoyed the verbal sparring between Ragnar and Jin, and the eventual blossoming of attraction and then love was fun to watch. I was happy to see that his little bit of deception didn’t ruin what he was trying for.

This is a wonderful look at the second generation of the Terran Times couples. This has the delightful character development I have come to expect from Viola Grace, along with her marvelous sense of the absurd, with lots of humor and passion to it. I look forward to the rest of this series, and hope for many more of her second generation of heroes and heroines to delight and entertain us all.
