As if family drama wasn’t bad enough, first comes Noah. Then comes Jesse. Samantha is torn between the way her heart skips a beat each time Noah looks at her, and the way Jesse’s touch make her yearn for more.

Jesse’s Brother can be summed up in two words: Love Triangle. Actually it can be summed up in three, because it is a very interesting love triangle. If you like ménages that don’t come together with ease, then you will love this book. The plot is attention grabbing and so are the characters.

Samantha, Noah and Jesse are all battling their own inner demons. When the three of them are in one room it can seem pretty crowded. Samantha has returned home under very unfavorable circumstances. She has enough on her mind even before she runs into Noah first, and then Jesse. Jesse’s Brother is a great read and I highly recommend it. The characters are multi-dimensional and as a reader I could relate to them on several levels. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who the heroine should choose.

What I love about Ms. Ely’s plot is that it focused on the three characters. There were no irrelevant moments in the book for me. I simply could not put this book down and was sad when I read the last page. I wasn’t disappointed in the story, only the fact that the story ended. I am now a fan of Ms. Ely and can’t wait to read more of her work.
