Into the Mists Forever, the prelude to Ms. Laurey’s Forever vampire series, has me hungering for more.

Don’t let the modern look of the cover confuse you, this short is set in fourth century Britain. I love how Ms. Laurey handles vampires in this story. They aren’t the standard blood-thirsty, lusty creatures of the night we are familiar with. She calls them “the Timeless” and they apparently have no problems with daylight or the general populous’ fear-factor. It worked for me. I’m hooked.

I don’t know how Into the Mists Forever relates to Ms. Laurey’s present Vampire series which also use the word “forever” in the title. I do know that if the Forever series is about Gwyltha and Justinius, I’ll be grabbing the first one for sure. I hope you’ll pick up Into the Mists Forever and enjoy meeting Gwyltha and Justinius as much as I did.
