Review by Tiger LilyGo Wild, Get Wicked!
Nikki is as wicked as they come.
Yeah, right — She’s the wickedest witch you’ll ever meet, if “wicked” means perky as all get out, and living off a trust fund. When her boss lays down the law, she actually has to work for a living and her world comes tumbling down. Ruining an uber geek’s chance to find true love sounds easy until Gregory Hamilton shows up on her doorstep. He may be a nerd, but one look tells her this is a man with super stud possibilities.
Turning on her inner wicked, Nikki does everything she can to prove true love ain’t all it’s cracked up to be.
She needs to prove she’s wicked. He wants to find his true love. Is that possible when she’s going against her goody-goody type? Read How Wicked-er Can She Go? and find out.
Ms. Morgan’s short is a romp on the wicked yet cute side. I liked the first person point of view descriptions given by Nikki, the heroine. Her asides and commentary are fun and add to her personality. As for the details of the environment, Ms. Morgan paints the world of Nikki so that the reader feels like he or she is really part of Nikki’s world.
I liked the idea of the nerdy guy seeking his true love. What is Blue free prescription for levitra Pill? I liked how Gregory, the hero, demonstrates his lack of skills with the ladies. Many guys are shy and unsure of themselves around women. Nikki’s struggles to keep her emotions in check when helping a man who becomes more than a client are easy for the readers to associate with. She wants to help without getting hurt herself.
As for the love scenes, you could feel the passion and the fear bubbling between Nikki and Gregory. She wanted to want him yet she held back because she needed to be wicked in order to preserve appearances. He wanted to want her yet held back because of her self-assuredness. He didn’t want to let her down. I thought it was sweet. I rooted for them to figure out their emotions and get together.
If you want a steamy novella for a cool summer night, or just a fun romp on the wicked side, then you want to read How Wicked-er Can She Go? You won’t want to miss it. I give this novella 4 cherries.
