Happy Anniversary by Sara York

Happy 4th Anniversary Whipped Cream Reviews!!! I’m so excited to be a part of this blog today. I’ve had my 20th anniversary with my husband and I think marking each year is important. Whipped Cream Reviews has had four great years reviewing books.

How do you mark important dates in your life? Do you go dancing, or out to a movie. Maybe a ball game if your a sporty couple. I think celebrating with a trip would be fun too. We usually celebrate with dinner, maybe a sweet treat and of course anniversary sex.

You could mark those dates with a sleepover. Now I’m not talking about the kiddie sleepovers, but an adult sleepover. What would you bring to an adult sleepover? Would you bring special toys or maybe a special drink? What would you wear? I have this great red silky nightie that would be great for sleepovers.

If you’re a man would you wear your super sexy orange briefs? Maybe a pouch to show off your equipment? What would you want your partner to wear and they have to wear something because you know at one point you’ll want to play an undress me game. Maybe some strip poker or musical chairs and instead of having to sit out if you miss the seat you have to remove a piece of clothing.

In Surprise Sleepover Nick and James are forced to spend the night downtown because of a blizzard. Nick is overly excited about spending time with James because he’s spent the last year dreaming of James, but he’s been too afraid to act on his desires. When the ice and snow blow in he’s trapped him downtown. James is pleased to find Nick still at work and opens his house to Nick, offering him a place to sleep. Nick is shocked when James grabs his hand to lead him across the icy street and more shocked when the man starts undressing him.

How far will Nick and James go?

Excerpt
James wrapped his arms around Nick. They were both about the same height so their heads rested against each other’s. The hurried kind of fucking he’d done in his past was so different than this. His heart squeezed in his chest and tears stung his eyes.

Nick pulled his head back to look into James’ eyes. They were filled with love. Nick leaned in and brushed his lips across James’. The kiss was electrifying. Nick’s heart fluttered and his legs shook. The tears in his eyes flowed down his cheeks as James deepened the kiss. Their mouths were open and their tongues warred with each other’s. James grasped Nick’s shoulders, pulling him tighter.

This was how making love was supposed to feel. His emotions were rolling around inside him, making him feel amazing and scared at the same time. No way in the world could he walk away easily from this guy.

  4. Hello Sara!
Congratulations on your 20th anniversary with your husband. I think an adults-only sleepover sounds FUN! I’m not a fan of the orange bottoms though. LOL. I would have to go buy something very special for that sleepover.

Stacie, people either love or hate orange. It’s just one of those colors. And yes, an adult sleepover is fun.

  9. I like to mark special dates…with dates. It could be anything from dinner and a movie to a trip somewhere. The important thing is spending time together and celebrating being together.

I’m not a fan of the orange briefs. It’s too bright for me and an orange comes to mind lol. Maybe a different colour would work.

  10. Ah yes, the travesty of the orange underwear. Na, thanks for the comment.

  11. Big Congrats too you! I for one do not like orange never really did! The book sounds great always looking for new books to read so Thank you so much!

  12. Thanks Latisha. Who knew so many people hated orange. Looks like orange bikini briefs will need to make it into my next book in a very funny way.
