Don’t Give Up, or Why I Love Romance
by Sarah Mäkelä

One of the most important things I’ve learned as a writer and a person is to not give up. Point in case, I’d never expected this year to bring me four new releases. Up until the end of April, I was growing ever wearier with writing since it seemed like no matter what I did I wasn’t breaking through after years of trying. Thankfully, my husband kept supporting and encouraging me to hang in there. Boy, I’m glad I listened to him and didn’t give up! I tied for first in Changeling Press’s Shamrock Challenge Contest (and won a contract and advertising). And that happened with a genre — cyberpunk romance, to be exact — I’d decided to try out for fun.

You never know where life is going to take you.

Even for my characters from Savage Bytes, Ian Bradley and Hannah Franklin… They’d separated previously due to problems in their relationship, but fate and dire circumstances threw them together in the first book Techno Crazed, and now they’re trying again to make their relationship work as well as facedown the external challenges that come their way. Some of their problems throw them in circumstances they never dreamed to be in, and not in a good way either, but to make it through, they have rely on each other for support. Erectile dysfunction is most browse to find out more now cheap cialis 20mg common in older men but now even young men report to suffer from it. They can’t give up, or well… if they did, it wouldn’t be a very good story! *grins*

And I think that’s one of the things I most love about the romance genre. No problem is too big. Happy endings are always in reach!
