Raina’s spell accidentally awakens her guardian wizard, Aleric, who has been preserved as a statue for three hundred years. He brings with him a hot body, great sex and enough magical knowledge to protect Raina from the danger she’s facing. She thinks that danger is Michael, the alpha werewolf who wants this sexy witch as his mate. But she might be wrong. Especially when both Aleric and Michael let her know they don’t object to sharing.

Between a hot wizard, a talking snake and a werewolf—and an evil mage out to steal her soul—Raina has her hands full.

A witch, and a wizard, and a werewolf… Oh, my!

Raina’s world turns upside down the day she discovers the statue that has been standing guard in her bedroom has suddenly vanished. She wonders why, but her attention is focused on keeping away from an alpha werewolf bent on taking her as his mate.

Protection spells can only do so much and only if Michael means harm, which her body senses is not the case. Still she can’t help feeling terrified whenever he’s near and eventually her call for help is answered. She just didn’t think Aleric would look so much like her missing statue or bring with him the news that her soul is in danger of being stolen. Ms. Kitts manages to once again keep me on my reading toes with this laugh-out-loud and sexy story. The dialogue is witty and the characters unique. While a few of the scenes changed a bit abruptly, which disrupted some of the story flow, the racier moments between the witch and her wizard and werewolf more than made up for that. My favorite character came in the form of a very sensible if sarcastic, cursed wizard living with Raina as her snake familiar. Percy and Raina have an ‘old married couple’ kind of relationship and Percy’s moment of triumph in the story is awesome.

Fans of paranormal romance will definitely embrace this new story by Ms. Kitts.
