This is a really quick read that does not have much character development. While it is a hot read it does have some nice elements of romance as well.
The two burn up the pages in this story and watching their feelings deepen through the story was a enjoyable. I would have liked to learn a bit more about both Shedir and Doreen and what drives them. I enjoyed meeting Doreen; she is a strong woman who wants a master to love and to love her back. I just could not seem to connect with Shedir at all as he seems so closed off. While he was not for me he sure was the one for Doreen. The attraction between the two is right there from the start and has the reader hoping that Doreen will show Shedir that love is worth the risk. The two quickly find themselves falling in love and the emotions run high. I enjoyed watching the two find love and seeing them fight for that love.
