It’s clear that better and better writers are attracted to this genre for various reasons. The stories are becoming truly good reading in many cases. Sex is used not only for gratification, but as a tool to explore issues that we face in real life many times.

Yet we still want the sex. Erotica is also no doubt there primarily for relaxation, and we want it to be arousing. That is where my problem lies with Double Double Dare Me. It’s a well written story and I really liked it, but I hesitate to classify it as erotica. Even so, the sex that it does contain is probably too much for it to be a hot romance. I loved the premise, and the characters were well rounded and believable. In all honesty, though, I felt the sexual tension between the main characters was simply too weak for this kind of story. There’s some BDSM and some spanking, but though the labels are necessary, it’s very mild.

The writing and editing are faultless, and that’s a big kudos for those who worked hard on this lovely tale. I truly enjoyed reading Ms Moonwater’s tale. It’s perfect for those who enjoy a great story that’s not shy of getting into detail when it’s time for the sex, but isn’t obsessed with it.
