Dark forces seeking vengeance for Gunnar’s past misdeeds mark Penny as a target. To protect his lover, Gunnar tests immortality in a death battle using a god’s magical sword. But the strength of Penny’s love and their lusty connection might be what saves them both.

Being a magnet for hot looking bums is nothing to brag about, at least not in Penny’s opinion. So she resorts to praying for divine intervention. The answer she receives is more than she could have hoped, or even dreamed, for. Tall, blond and decidedly Viking, Gunnar makes up for all the guys that left Penny high and dry. Instead, Gunnar leaves her wet and wanting.

This was a really fun read. Ms. Dubois tapped into several girlish fantasies inside this short novella including going to sleep and being awoken to a smokin’ hot man doing dishes.
