When Laurel Sherman’s boyfriend leaves her for a woman half his age, Laurel wonders if her romantic future is over. Forty-one years old, slightly overweight, she buries herself in the job she loves. But when her driver comes to take her to the airport each week, she can’t help but give in to the allure of Rafi’s cultured manners, engaging conversation, and smoldering, dark appeal.

Foreign-born Rafi may only be twenty-six, but he is unusually experienced in the ways of women. He is drawn to the mature sensuality hidden beneath Laurel’s buttoned-up exterior. When sparks lead to a first touch, blazing passion is not far behind.

This book is part of the Cougar Club, which basically means an older woman and a younger man. Laurel’s boyfriend leaves her for a much younger woman. Now she wonders if her sex-life is over. She’s slightly over weight and over forty. With nothing else to do she buries herself in her work. But she can’t help but to notice her much younger driver Rafi.

Rafi is a twenty-six experienced lover and that excites Laurel. He loves her mature sensuality hidden between her business exterior. With a first touch that sparks both of them it isn’t long before they are wrapped around each other.

I’ll admit this is my first “Cougar” read. I was a little unsure at first but the blurb won me over. It’s okay for a man to date a younger woman so why can’t a woman date a younger man? This story is full of intense passion between Rafi and Laurel. Laurel fears her love life is over once her boyfriend dumps her for a younger woman, but with Rafi Laurel discoveries new things about herself, what she wants sexually and what she wants out of life. Bartek is an amazing writer. I absolutely loved this story, she took a theme I wasn’t too excited about and made it one of my favorites. I would recommend this book to any woman, any age to read. Don’t let the “Cougar” word scare you off.
