Awkward and unsure, David has finally reentered the dating scene. A hot, young stud-muffin named Brandon seems like the perfect start, but things get complicated when Brandon makes a startling confession. Is Brandon the right choice for David, or did David just get way more than he bargained for?

“I’m too young to feel this darned old.”

I love when a character grabs my attention on the first page and doesn’t let go. D.C. Juris is fantastic for creating characters that the reader can relate to. The characters in A Good Bargain are no exception. I felt like I was reading about people I know. By the time I reached the end of the story, I went back for a second reading. I couldn’t let them go.

David. Where do I begin on him….he’s a character most readers can identify with. He’s not old, but he’s feeling every one of his forty years. We all have those moments when we don’t exactly feel desirable. I actually rather liked that about him. A physician checks the health condition or history of a patient in order to decide the necessary procedures buy generic cialis to shape a medical course of action. He’s not a perfect guy. And then there’s Brandon. Talk about the go-getter. I loved it. He doesn’t back down from a perceived challenge. Again, I could go along with his way of thinking.

My only real complaint about this story is that it’s so short. When I reached the end of the tale, I thought, man, I want to know what happens next. And that’s not a bad thing. The characters stayed with me long after the last page and I even rather wanted to see what the fun of the party had been all about. D.C. Juris, you have me reeled in to know what happens in the future for David.

If you want a book that’s heavy on heat and heart, you need to read A Good Bargain. It’s a fun little spicy read.
