True love… Happily ever after… The full meal-deal fairy tale… Glamour girl Gia Hellman almost had it all until death stole the love of her life. Two years and a string of dead-end hook-ups later, she’s through fooling around. Love will be hers again, but sexy, one-night-only lawyer Ian O’Connor doesn’t fit into the equation. No matter how charming or tempting, he’s neither knight nor prince, and she’s done kissing frogs.

With a past full of long-buried secrets, he never breaks his rule of only one night with any woman. But when the case to propel Ian to the top requires working with Gia, and a slip-up results in a fake engagement, keeping his distance may be the trial of his life.

As the passion between them builds and rules break one by one, Ian must decide between protecting a secret that could destroy him or risking it all for Gia’s dream of happily ever after. If only Ian believed in fairy-tale endings…

When Mr. Right only wants to be Mr. Right Now. Gia is looking for someone who wants forever with all its emotions and trappings and Ian just isn’t that guy. At least not, yet.

This book tested my patience almost as much as Ian tested Gia’s. Not in a bad way! I simply had to remind myself the context of the story. Gia had found “the one” and lost him. How could any guy measure up to someone who felt like her literal other half? And be so exactly the opposite in every way. Don’t get me wrong, Ian is something. But he’s so much more than the face he wears in public. The shark in the courtroom. The consummate ladies man who doesn’t do more than one date with any one lucky lady.

I kept going back to something Gia decides that she wants for herself. She wants love that is totally organic. It took me a minute to wrap my mind around what that would look like but as I read the story, I began to see it even before Gia recognized it. The pacing of the story is actually just perfect for what both Gia and Ian need to get to the point where they are doing the relationship thing and it just kind of snuck up on them. It’s was beautiful!

The story is about more than just the developing bond between Gia and Ian, there’s a really interesting side story they’re dealing with. How would they get close enough to a client to actually help them? How would they find the information they needed with almost nothing to go on? It was intriguing. I had to know how it would end and hoped for the best.

An excellent conclusion to this min-series. I loved Ian and Gia’s story! He’s so self assured but she’s not going to settle for scratching an itch. I admired that about her character. I would suggest reading the prequel short story to really appreciate the chemistry between Gia and Ian. Not completely necessary but it adds to their overall story. Both are well worth the read.

Laura Davis hates Marcus Giovanni. For as long as she’s known him, he has hurt her and gone out of his way to humiliate her. There was no way she was ever going to marry him. But forced down the aisle, she has no choice. The mafia won’t take no for an answer, and any fight she shows is ignored. She is now a Giovanni and at his mercy.

Marcus never wanted to marry Laura. Why would he? She’s nothing like the placid, submissive women of his world. She’s a fighter—and now he has to get her pregnant. To make sure her family’s fortune returns to the mafia’s control, he has to have a son with Laura.
There are millions of men across the world who are struggling with impotence and erectile dysfunction problems are turning to this sildenafil citrate medicine for the only patent holder of sildenafil generico viagra and so, they have done the monopoly of business. Only, Laura has gotten under his skin, and when he looks at her, he no longer sees a problem but a beautiful woman—and Laura sees there is more to Marcus than the mafia bully she remembers. All this time, he’d pushed her away, and she was right there, in front of him.

When his newfound happiness is threatened, Marcus has no choice but to protect the girl he once bullied and pushed aside. Will he make it in time?

Real power is in the giving, not the taking. That’s not how mafia son, Marcus Gionvannia, was brought up but it’s what he’ll learn at the hands of the one woman he’s lived his life trying to hate as he protects her. The feeling is pretty mutual, or so she thought.

I’ve read some dark mafia books. There’s always the element of darkness and perceived power over the weak. Sam Crescent doesn’t deviate from that formula but still put out a unique and intriguing story. I read a excerpt from the book before deciding to request it for review. I couldn’t imagine how the story could begin with so much anger and deception and end with a true and realistic HEA for Marcus and Laura. I knew I had to read it.

The author gives the reader chronological glimpses into the past. Brief episodes where Marcus and Laura cross paths and the outcome. It was very revealing as the present day story was told. Who Marcus was and how he became the man who forced Laura down the aisle, who constantly reminded her that she was his property, who swore that he would do his duty to the family. But it also showed me that Marcus was and would be protective of Laura, even love her in his own way.

The author gave me hope for Marcus and Laura in little ways that I truly appreciated. This was a quick read and one that I didn’t put down until finished. Readers who look for dark redemption will appreciate this one.

Douglas “Devil” Ashton, Lord Deveril, was forced by his father to join the army and was exiled to India. It was punishment for all his many wicked, wild and reckless ways. While serving his country, the unthinkable happens at home. Devil’s sister is seduced by a fortune hunter and cast out by their father. By the time Devil returns to England, he’s too late to save her… but if he can obtain the right governess, one who specializes in working with children others have deemed unmanageable, he might be able to save his niece.

There is only one problem – no respectable woman would ever consent to be employed in the house of the Devil Lord. If she did, she’d never be able to be employed elsewhere again, as his very name is synonymous with ruin.

But Wilhelmina Marks is no ordinary governess. She’s a graduate of the Darrow School, an integral member of The Hellion Club, and a determined lady in her own right. Marina, Lord Deveril’s niece is a challenge… but not nearly as challenging as her uncle. He is all that they have said of him. Hedonistic. Rakishly charming. Too handsome by far. But also kind and perhaps a little broken. It’s that combination which draws Willa to him and makes him irresistible to her.

Willa and Devil must work together to keep the little girl safe… is it a recipe for disaster or a recipe for love?

United in their love for a broken child, Willa and Lord Devil will go to great lengths to help her heal. Just maybe along the way, they’ll discover love can create a family out of ruin.

I love a man who loves his family and children. Devil’s background story earned him lots of points with this reader. His dead father, not so much. The author lays out both Willa and Devil’s motivations for why they are how they are and it was both believable and instantly had me cheering for them to find love. Their first face to face meeting is both fun and a little volatile. I couldn’t wait until round 2.

The ruse that they come up with, to keep her reputation in tact, was a little unbelievable for me. It relied heavily on his servants not knowing the truth. As Willia had been in his home before on interview for the governess position, I wasn’t sure how they would suddenly forget just because she returned in the guise of his betrothed.

Outside of that mild crit, the story flows really well. The dialogue and scenery are descriptive and well in keeping with the time period. I felt like I was there. I also was drawn into how unjustly people can be judged for actions outside their control. Books that make me feel something are good books.

There’s a sinister element to this story that I had to see resolved as soon as the villain of the piece was introduced. Hated him on site and looked forward to his imminent demise.

I love the concept of this series of books and I’m excited to see several more planned. The Hellion Club is made up of the byblows of upper crust. The fact that these girls who are sent to Darrow School to be hidden away are going to make such a huge in-your-face’ explosion in “polite society” tickles me to no end. I can’t wait to see who makes a splash next!

Insta-lust and powerful attraction at it’s best. In the Flames takes on a very heart breaking subject ripped from today’s headlines and adds a mild paranormal twist. Brooklyn is more than a witness to these crimes, she actually unwillingly and unknowingly helps facilitate them.

The men in this story is romance fantasy hot and all about Brooklyn’s comfort and pleasure be it one-on-one or three-on-one. She’s the center of attention and they mean business! Brooklyn has been very sheltered by her abusive parents so I was a little surprised that her grandmother sent her out into the world alone so quickly. The book packs a whole lot of heat and is just long enough to be honestly entertaining. Sometimes with insta-lust all you get is a whole lot of bedroom action but no real story. Not the case here. My main problem with insta-lust is that I feel like I lose the relationship build up in favor of fast tension that always leads to sex and chemistry is implied rather than seen or felt.

Having said that, the author does a good job of keeping the reason Brooklyn is on the run important to the story. Sure there’s plenty of open door explicit happy time between Brooklyn, Liam, Callum and Aidan but I expected that. I also wanted to actually see them figure out the mystery and there be some real closure. The author didn’t disappoint.

Readers who want the menage fantasy but love a good thrilling mystery on the side should give In the Flames a read. Lust turns to love in this fast paced HEA.

She can’t shake the feeling that her agent—and supposed fiancé—manipulated her into the role of made-for-TV homewrecker. Connecting with her roots is just what she needs, and Bootleg Springs is home to her father, moonshine, and her childhood best friend, Jameson Bodine.

Only there’s nothing childlike about Jameson—a man who turns scrap metal into art and isn’t afraid to throw down on a rowdy Friday night with his brothers and hellcat sister. And sometimes steam turns into sparks—hot as molten steel—and friends aren’t just friends.

When the ‘friend-zone’ line blurs, it can’t always be blamed on the world famous moonshine no matter how strong. Love is in the air in Bootleg Springs.

Still waters run deep indeed. Jameson Bodine had resigned himself to loving his childhood best friend from a distance. That distance being on the other side of the country from the West Virginia they both once called home. But then Leah Larkin comes for a visit. Game changer.

Jameson is such a sweetheart. Quiet, super talented artist and a gentleman to boot. Quite the devastatingly hormone wrecking combination. Leah didn’t stand a chance.

I liked how the authors showed her as having changed when she left Bootleg Springs but that the call to come home was strong. To coin a phrase “You can take the girl out of Bootleg but you can’t take Bootleg out of the girl”. Hollywood and self serving boyfriend try read hard. Man I didn’t like that guy!

Another awesome visit to the mountains of W Virginia. I enjoyed how the writing takes me right into the center of the community. I can feel the summer heat, smell the mountain air, taste down home cooking. That’s good writing.

I’d like to say the mystery is starting to unravel but really, it’s just getting started. Details come out. I have my own suspicion but I’ll wait to see how it plays out. I love the romance of these books but I’m a sucker for a good ‘who-done-it’.

Next in line to be bit by the love bug is Cassidy and Bowie and it’s about time these two make a move. The first two books really build the tension likes it’s foreplay. I can’t wait to see what sets off the spark that finally ignites them. Love this series!

I loved their chemistry! It’s off the pages hot and sweet at the same time. There’s so much going on in this first book in the series. The authors did a fantastic job of building the unsolved mystery with clues that not only kept me wondering about what would be revealed in this book but clearly what will be sprinkled in throughout the rest of the series.

Something the authors did that I don’t see often was in the epilogue. The give the reader a glance at the future that includes the completed stories of the future couples that are featured in the rest of the series. Not exactly spoilers because, somebody, not me, might decide not to read the next books. Just a feeling of completion for not only Devlin and Scarlett but that the town as well as the rest of her family will survive what is revealed.

I’ll be returning to Bootleg Springs real soon. Readers who love a good rom-com and a mystery to boot, should join me. Be warned that you might not want to leave. The story and the people will draw you in and make you feel like family.

Willa Frank has one simple rule: never go on a date with anyone more than twice. Now that her business is providing the stability she’s always needed, she can’t afford distractions. Her two-date rule will protect her just fine…until she meets smokejumper Grady Billman.

After one date―one amazing, unforgettable date―Grady isn’t ready to call it quits, despite his own no-attachments policy, and he’s found a sneaky way around both their rules.

Throwing gutter balls with pitchers of beer? Not a real date. Everyone knows bowling doesn’t count.

Watching a band play at a local show? They just happen to have the same great taste in music. Definitely not a date.

It is difficult to complete the sexual intercourse and satisfy the female partner. viagra online overnight Reportedly, 39% of men above 40 and 65% of men above 65 worldwide suffer from this problem. purchase cheap cialis djpaulkom.tv is one of the best solutions of erectile dysfunction. Nope. How can exercise be considered a date?

With every “non-date” Grady suggests, his reasoning gets more ridiculous, and Willa must admit she’s having fun playing along. But when their time together costs Willa two critical clients, it’s clear she needs to focus on the only thing that matters―her future. And really, he should do the same.

But what is she supposed to do with a future that looks gray without Grady in it?

Is it really a dating rule when you go out of your way to break it? This book had me looking forward to each new ‘non-date’ that Grady and Willa came up with to work around her self imposed ‘two date rule’. The author built the tension with each meeting and the chemistry was hot enough to warrant a fire hazard. Such a fun story!

Willa has a history that made such an impact on who she is today. It impacts every decision she makes for herself to not become her mother, to not go down the path of her father. To make a better life that she can call her own and be proud of. To a fault. Ms Fenske sprinkles in bits and pieces along the way and I could see Willa creating these rules (not just for dating) to protect herself. To have control of her life. But she needed to have that life plan shaken up a bit and one seriously sexy smokejumper was just the right slice of perfect to show her that plans can be changed.

I’m not sure what amused me more. The not so smooth attempts at justifying the ‘non-dates’ or the witty dialogue. It was all good and kept me turning pages. They just had to figure this out. Grady and Willa needed each other and I love love love finding stories where I want to get to know the characters so I can help them find their HEA. That’s not really an option so second best is reading an author who brings me right into the story. This is one of those books.

Willa’s relationship with her dad tugged on all the feels. She says more than once that he’s ‘complicated’ and I got that. I felt her anxiety when she remembered or spoke of her childhood. I knew Willa would have to come to terms with her past and I had no doubt there would be way more sparks between her and Grady before that was settled. I mentioned the feels this book stirs up. It was on both ends of the spectrum including wanting to throw something at her through my Kindle at one point.

Grady had work to do and I loved the advice his father gives him. And it was going to require patience and perseverance. He’s not perfect, he also had his own issues to work through. That’s why I loved them together. They had their own independent lives but they gravitated to each other. It was beautiful and I want more smokejumper stories now.

The Two-Date Rule ends on the perfect note. Tawna Fenske is a fantastic story teller and I’ll be watching for new stories to be released as well as checking out her book log.

Always up for a challenge, violinist Garret is a master of patience and persistence, and the minute he meets Adara, he knows what he wants. Her sharp humor and haunted eyes inspire him in a way he’s never felt before. He makes it his mission to chip through her shields and breathe her back to life—no matter how hard she resists.

Even as Adara struggles to keep Garret at a distance with each clash of wills, each smile he coaxes, each kiss he steals, her resistance crumbles. But when the past catches up with them both, they will discover that some promises are meant to be broken…and others are worth risking everything for.

Grief is powerful. Like takes prisoners and holds them in darkness powerful. For Adara, losing her brother, the embodiment of joy and sunshine, was practically debilitating. She was alive but not living. It would take someone with a eye to see beyond her walls and a boat load of both patience and persistence to knock them down for her. Because that’s what she needed. Grief had built some seemingly impenetrable barriers. Who knew a swashbuckling band geek with an amazing musical talent would not only crack those walls, he would have her waiving the surrender flag to the rockin’ beat of Metallica’s Enter Sandman. You’ll want to read the book to get that reference.

I can honestly say I wasn’t sure I was going to like this book. I read the prequel, Every Kiss, because I knew it would be short and I wanted a sample of the writer’s voice since I had requested Book 3, Every Breath, to read and review. That’s when I first met Adara. Just six months out from losing her beloved brother to the most horrible disease of cancer. She was closed off, hard to talk to, hard to like for this reader but I was mostly reading to get a feel for Gia and Ian who are the stars of Book 3. I knew that Adara and someone named Garrett were the feature in the first full length book so I was curious to see who could possibly pull her back from the abyss.

Only someone like Garrett Ambrose could have managed the nearly impossible. He stayed. He annoyed and chipped away at her every excuse and every defense. Bless him, he’s adorable and I had to keep reading to see what he would do or say that kept her in the present rather than allowing her to mourn the past. He’s very clever and I was thankful he didn’t give up on her.

The story isn’t completely focused on Garrett winning Adara over. He’s come home from a music tour but trouble followed him. That was an interesting side story that had me on the edge of my seat when it took a very heart wrenching turn.

Ms. Burright’s writing voice is excellent and I’m so very glad I didn’t give up on Adara because I can see her being important in the next book. I look forward to reading it to find out.

Ladies man Linc has finally met a woman who had him speechless at first sight. I fell in love with Mack, or Doc Dreamy to some, when she saved Aldo’s life five years ago. The fact that she’s the new family physician in Benevolence guaranteed that Linc’s life was about to get just a little more interesting.

Speaking of Linc’s personal development, wait until you see him with his nieces and nephews. If didn’t already love him, you will!

I thought Luke and Harper was the best couple. Very swoon worthy. And then I met Aldo and Gloria. So many ‘awww’ moments, I couldn’t help but love them and decide they were my new favorite. Along come Linc and Mack. I was only a fourth of the way through book and could tell they were going to steal ‘fan favorite’ right out from under all the others. Too cute and so much sexy, flirty fun!

Maybe one of the reasons I love this series so much is that Ms. Score has an element of kids in foster care and forever homes in each story. We live in a community where there is a large community of foster families. It touches our lives and these books celebrated loving kids who just want to loved in a beautiful way.

I couldn’t put this 400+ page book down until I’d read the last page. Ms. Score drew me in, made me feel like part of the community and the amazing families who live here. I don’t know here future plans for Benevolence but I hope there’s more life and love to come.

Gloria is due a happily ever after. She’s lost ten years to a toxic, dangerous relationship. Now that she’s finally free—and medicating with makeovers and margaritas in her mother’s kitchen—she has a long road ahead of her remembering who she really is. She’s scarred. But scarred doesn’t mean broken.

While Gloria’s deciding to take the next decade off from men, along comes larger-than-life, hometown hero Aldo Moretta. He’s saying all the right things and flirting in all the right ways. He’s deploying for six months and wants a date…with Gloria…when he comes back. Swoon. Panic.

One kiss, one dazzling, remember-for-a-lifetime kiss and he’s gone. But life and happily ever afters don’t always take the straight path. When Aldo’s deployment is cut short by an injury, it’s up to Gloria to be the hero for them both.

Who was she outside of the abusive relationship that was all she had known for so long? I knew from reading the first chapter that I wouldn’t put this book down before seeing Gloria Parker feel and see her real worth. Even beyond Gloria, Aldo had a story to tell as well and it was going to be gut wrenching in the best way possible because I already knew this book had a HEA if they were willing to fight.

Dr. Dunnigan says it best at the end of the second chapter.”Today you’re not a victim. Today you’re a survivor”.

This was a tough story to read. Not because I’ve personally been in an abusive relationship or dealt with PTSD first hand but because Ms. Score is so very talented in bringing the reader right into the room. Feeling what the character is feeling. I would warn anyone who has suffered from domestic abuse or a loved one walking the dark path of any form of PTSD, this book could be triggering. I want to say also that it could be good for someone who’s in or been in that situation, help them draw strength from both Gloria and Aldo’s stories.

If the demons that Gloria would have to battle wasn’t enough, I remembered a very important story arch from the first book in this series. Aldo Moretta coming home from Afghanistan. He wasn’t the same happy go lucky young man who left. He would never be the same. They would be both have such steep uphill battles but I was right there with them, cheering them on and cheering them towards each other. This was a deeply emotional story that I’m so glad I read.

It’s been a few years since I read the first Small Town Love Story book, Luke and Harper’s story. A few chapters into this one I realized that the stories are happening simultaneously. That worked well for me because it took me back and allowed me to remember how much I enjoyed that first trip to the town of Benevolence. This trip was going to be every bit as memorable.

I won’t even lie. The scenes with Aldo after “the incident” had me in the feels and bit breathless. Keep reading. It’s so very worth it! The book isn’t all tissues and sniffles. I LOVED Aldo’s mother and Gloria’s mother and who doesn’t love Harper and Sophie? I was smiling and even laughing out loud in parts that most often involved conversations between Aldo and his mother. Then Gloria, the new and improved Gloria, started showing some real spunk and she was fun to watch, too. I could ruin this story by talking about it but, last thing, when Aldo gets over himself or maybe back to himself, he’s a force to be reckoned with for sure!

This is one of my favorite series from one of my favorite story tellers. Finally Mine was an excellent addition and I can’t wait to read Linc’s book. Here’s hoping Ms. Score takes us back to Benevolence time and again!
