For today’s freebie post, I’d like to share ten reasons why autumn is my favorite season of the year.
1. The beginning of my relief from seasonal allergies.
2. Halloween.
3. The food: pumpkin spice lattes, candy corn, pumpkin or sweet potato pie, fresh apples, and more!
4. Shorter days help me to appreciate the sun more.
5. Paranormal films which are the most entertaining subgenre of horror if you ask me.
6. The leaves change colour and make my corner of the world a beautiful place for a few weeks.
7. New holiday-themed books are everywhere. I prefer the Halloween stories, of course, but there are plenty of great options for many other holidays as well.
8. It’s generally cool enough to wear cozy sweaters.
9. There are so many different holidays to celebrate in the coming months. I love seeing the joy these days give to people.
10. Many insects have died off or gone into hibernation now which makes spending time outside more pleasant.
What’s your favorite season?
My favorite season USED to be summer, but the older I get, the more I don’t do well with the heat. I love spring and autumn. Not a fan of cool weather (so spring is a bit ahead on that count), but I love Halloween and fall foods 🙂

I had pumpkin pancakes yesterday and suddenly I understood why everyone love pumpkin spice everything.
Pumpkin spice is so delicious. It’s funny to see how many different products it shows up in.
Seasonal allergies have been KILLER this year. My sinuses have been so bad and I can’t wait for relief!!

I like autumn for getting cosy with blankets and candles in the evening, and big jumpers… But I think Spring is really my favourite for the explosion of colour!
It’s definitely beautiful then for sure.
Mine is also autumn but here that just means it’s warm but without being baking hot! And the nights start to cool off.

I’m right there with you on ALL! I love pumpkin but not into the PSL… until I started adding pumpkin puree to my own coffee concoction at home, and YUM! Now I only prefer my own. 😉 Happy Autumn!

Fall is also my favorite season! So many good things to look forward to. I finally broke out my cozy sweaters and cardigans for mornings, and I’m so excited. 😀

I love this and I completely agree with you on many of these! Autumn is my favorite season too, because my birthday is in autumn, and it’s also cool enough to crochet those cozy sweaters!
