Undiscovered by Sara Humphreys – Q&A

Long and Short Reviews welcomes Sara Humphreys who is visiting with us today to celebrate the release of her newest book Undiscovered, the first book in her Amoveo Rising series, which will be released on March 7.

What are your favorite TV shows?

I have a well-known obsession with THE WALKING DEAD and it’s only partly because of my crush on Norman Reedus. Okay, fine. It’s mostly due to him, his smoldering stare and those arms. He provided delicious inspiration for the hero in UNDISCOVERED. A bad boy on a Harley? Yes, please. I’m also a big fan of COLONY, THIS IS US, and BONES.

What is your favorite meal?

My mom’s tuna noodle casserole is an all-time favorite and it would probably be what I would request for my last meal. If I’m going out to eat, then I’ll usually pick Pan-Asian.

What group did you hang out with in high school?

I wasn’t really in a group but considered myself a bit of a “loser” back then. I got teased a lot in my first high school and wasn’t doing well at all. My parents were smart enough to get me out of there and they enrolled me in an all girls high school, where I thrived. I lived in the dorm, which was very small. There were only about twenty-five girls or so who boarded. I guess you could say there were my group. We were all kind of dorky but we had a great time.

What are you passionate about these days?

My family. Writing. Living life to the fullest. Being grateful.

If you could apologize to someone in your past, who would it be?

Well, I’ve already apologized to my parents for my jerky teenager behavior and I’m sure they’d be fine if I apologized again. Every time one of my four sons does or says something ridiculous, I remember my own stupid behavior during those high school years and it makes me feel better. Everyone grows up…eventually.

“Darkly sensual, rich with emotion, a wild unsettling ride.”—Christine Feehan, New York Times bestselling author

He can hardly believe it when the dream changes and a beautiful young woman appears. Zander believes she’s the key to ending his torment. Finding her in the real world is one thing, but how will he convince her of who—and what—she really is?

She’s the end to his nightmare

Rena McHale uses her unique sensitivity as a private investigator, touting herself as a “human divining rod” and finder of the lost.
