What is something you’d like to accomplish in your writing career next year?

My big goal for 2017/2018 is to attend more conferences and reader events. Most of the time, you can find me holed up in my house, watching caper movies and plotting crimes I’ll never commit – which is great for writing heist romance novels, but probably not the most social activity in the world.

I’d like to meet more people from the book world: other writers, publishing professionals, bloggers, and especially readers. Readers are the best!

If you could have one paranormal ability, what would it be?

Invisibility, for sure. (And not just because I could sneak into bank vaults and steal things, thank you very much.) Eavesdropping on other people is one of an author’s best tools of the trade – just think how much easier it would be if you could literally sit in on any conversation in the world.

If you could keep a mythical/ paranormal creature as a pet, what would you have?

A dragon. Three of them, to be exact, all of whom I would mother as I prepare to rule my (temporarily) dethroned kingdom.

What is something that you absolutely can’t live without?

My heated blanket. I am always, always, always cold, and it doesn’t help that I live somewhere with heaps of snow in the winter. When I’m doing all that sitting around watching movies and plotting crimes, I like to do it with the blanket cranked up to ten.

Could you ever co-author a book with someone? If so, who would you choose, and what would you write?

Like, I can pick anyone? I could call up J.K. Rowling and see if she’d like to take the Harry Potter gang to the world of Ocean’s 11 and let them loose.

Because if that’s an option, then yes. I’m in.

I’m a wanted jewel thief.
He’s FBI.
What’s that saying? Keep your friends close…and your husband closer.

Being married to a federal agent certainly has its perks.

1. I just love the way that man looks in a suit.

2. This way I always know what the enemy is up to.

Spending my days lifting jewels and my nights tracking the Bureau should have been a genius plan. But the closer I get to Grant Emerson, the more dangerous this feels. With two million dollars’ worth of diamonds on the line, I can’t afford to fall for my own husband.

It turns out that the only thing worse than having a mortal enemy is being married to one. Because in our game of theft and seduction, only one of us will come out on top.

Good thing a cat burglar always lands on her feet.

About the Author:Tamara Morgan is a contemporary comedy romance author. Ninety-nine percent of her information comes from television, movies, books, and all other pop culture activities that limit the amount of time she has to spend in polite company.

Her long-lived affinity for romance novels survived a B.A. degree in English Literature, after which time she discovered it was much more fun to create stories than analyze the life out of them. She lives with her husband and daughter in the Inland Northwest, where the summers are hot, the winters are cold, and coffee is available on every street corner.

Tamara loves to participate in reader conversations, blog tours, and the occasional venture into public, so feel free to drop her an email at tamaramorganwrites (at) gmail (dot) com.
