Thanks for being here today! To start off, can you please tell us a little bit about your current project?

International Guy is a serial that is told through the eyes of our primary hero, Parker Ellis. He is known as the Dream Maker because he has a gift for making his clients dreams come true. His company, International Guy, Inc. focuses on helping rich clients throughout the world with unique and unorthodox problems, often in a life coach and love coach capacity. He is supported by his two business partners Bogart “Bo” Montgomery the resident Love Maker, and Royce Sterling who’s been dubbed the Money Maker. Each of the three men have special expertise and skillsets that are called upon as needed to aid the client of each book. In this serial the reader will get an erotic and exciting adventure as the men take on a new international city every installment.

Would you say this book showcases your writing style or is it a departure for you?

This was a bit of a different type of book for me because 90% of it is written in the hero’s point of view. Getting that deep into a male’s head and thought processes was challenging. I surprised myself some of the time with how intense it goes.

How did you ‘get to know’ your main characters? Did they ever surprise you?

My characters surprise me ALL of the time. I never know what they are going to throw at me next. When I sat down to write the story, even one of the secondary characters had a full name change from what I’d planned. He didn’t fit the name I had planned, nor did his background. With Parker, the hero for this series, I had planned to have him be overly alpha and demanding and he became the exact opposite. He’s now a man you’d want in your life because of what he can share with you and how he listens and analyzes a situation. He’s extremely thoughtful in his approach but also very confident which I find sexy as hell!

What was the most difficult scene to write?

In an upcoming title in the series, Washington DC, the characters encounter a company that has some seriously horrible business practices that involve the beauty industry, politics and animal cruelty. That was hard to research let alone write but according to my editors and beta readers, I brought it all together beautifully and it’s now one of the best installments. I find a lot in the process of writing a manuscript that the hardest things can often be the most crucial to the story as well as beautiful.

What was your favorite scene to write?

There’s a scene in New York where Parker knocks on the door of his new client, Skyler Paige’s house. She happens to be his celebrity crush and an actress that has lost the will to act. When she opens the door, she thinks it’s her best friend coming back because she forgot something, so she doesn’t bother to cover up and she’s only wearing a tank and a skimpy pair of panties. The conversation and sexual tension on Parker’s part, and embarrassment on Skyler’s part makes for a hilariously sexy scene.

Can you list some things that inspired this book? Perhaps a location or celebrity crush?

The entire book was inspired by my world travels for Calendar Girl promotions. I’ve been to 10 out of the 12 cities in the series I wrote about in the series. Every place I traveled gave me a new experience to share with the readers through the eyes of my characters.

As for the celebrity look-a-likes, I used the cover model Forest Harrison as my Parker Ellis and Zoey Deutch for Sophie Rolland and Olivia Holt for Skyler Paige. I even used one of my editors likeness and name for the princess in Copenhagen, Book 3. I love to add in names of my readers and friends when I can. Makes the books more personal for me.

What project are you working on next?

Actually, when I finish the last installment of International Guy next month, I plan to take a good long break! I’ve been writing this series and Lotus House nonstop for over two years. I need to give my muse some chill time. Plus, I’d like to write a couple standalones because I’ve never done that and maybe start the three spin offs I plan to write for the secondary characters in International Guy.

My name is Parker Ellis. You can call me The Dream Maker. This is where my story begins.

There’s a world of women waiting for me, but my journey starts here, in three cities: Paris. New York. Copenhagen.

International Guy Inc. is owned and operated by Parker Ellis, a ladies’ man with a high IQ and a big libido. He’s the most successful life and love coach in the world, and he’s smart enough to know he can’t run a multimillion-dollar company alone.

He hires two friends whose areas of expertise complement his own. They comprise The Dream Maker, The Love Maker, and The Money Maker. Together, they advise the wealthiest people in the world: Hollywood hotshots, European royalty, and the CEOs of multibillion-dollar companies. And sometimes they can’t help it when things heat up and they end up in bed with their clients. Quite literally.

This International Guy likes his playboy lifestyle, and he’s not looking for commitment. After all, there’s a whole world waiting for him. But as he goes from city to city, and from woman to woman, it’s possible that he just might find his own love along the way…
