Can these two polar opposites, a book reviewer and an author, ever make it work?

Polar opposites with a white hot attraction.

This is book two in the Smoky Mountain Escapes series and it picks up beautifully right after book 1. You can read book 1, but you don’t need to in order to know what’s going on in this story. The author makes sure the reader isn’t lost. The storytelling is interesting. I wanted to know what would happen between these two characters. Having met them in book 1, I was invested in their future in book 2.

I like how the author calls Kallie and Hank polar opposites. To an extent, that’s true. But there are so many ways these two are very much alike. The author writes them both with a tenderness missing from many books. I rooted for these two. They are both headstrong and needing passion in their lives. Yes, Kallie might be a klutz, but that’s what endeared her to me. I’ve felt like her many times. Hank was a bit more of a mystery. I liked reading about him and getting to know him. But I wished I got to read more from his point of view. Maybe a book 1.5 all from his point of view? I’d read that in a heartbeat!

The sex is hot and the story engaging. Grab a copy of You’ll Never Be Lonely and get lost in the passion!
