Wick knows he screwed up by leaving Abbott behind, but he honestly thought she’d be better off without him. Little did he know that out of heartbreak she turned to the first man to show her kindness…only to become a survivor of mental and physical abuse.

Wherever she goes, her tormentor finds her. After ten years she’s tired of running and so goes back to Wick. Their passion sparks and love rekindles, but when Abbott is targeted, Wick must do very wicked things to make sure she stays alive.

Beth D. Carter delivered another great biker romance that easily captured my attention and refused to let go until the end.

I loved this lead couple, Wick and Abbott, mostly because they were both so likeable and had such a great back story. This MC romance ahd a dark edge but at the same time it was a sweet second time around love story. The talented author made it easy for me to connect with these flawed characters. Wick was pretty much a jerk for leaving Abbott without even word of goodbye, but then she made seriously questionable choices that led to her desperately running from a stalker. Now she made it back to Wick, but her stalker always seemed to be one step ahead of the game.

In a nutshell, I enjoyed this sexy suspenseful second chance biker romance. It was well written and fast paced and loaded with angst and drama. Also, now I have Heart’s book to look forward to in the future. His predicament sounded interesting and so I can’t wait for it.
