She’s had a horrid day and just wants to sit and enjoy a stiff drink, catch her breath and have a few minutes of solitude. But Sebastian manages not only to make her laugh, but pique her interest. This book is scorching hot, with plenty of explicit sex and dirty talk. The ending was satisfying, but not a traditional happily ever after. Romantic readers who need a definitive, solid “happy ending” might want to be prepared for a different style of resolution to the coupling. I found there was plenty of emotional connection between Nicole and Sebastian and it was very realistic – no swooning heroine or over the top hero. Both dedicated, career driven people our protagonists are modern and more than willing to share a weekend of being lovers and giving themselves completely over to each other. For a steamy read, this fits the bill and will get your blood pumping.
