When amateur fetish model and rockabilly princess Adelita “Addie” Sanchez is asked to model for an instructional BDSM book, she turns the offer down—she’s not a porn star. Then she meets the three male Dominants behind the project, including Lane Therres, who convinces her the book is more art than porn, and she’ll be safe in his hands.

The rules of the photo sessions are clear—there’s no sex, and Addie can call a halt to anything she’s uncomfortable with. But self-reliant, strong-willed Addie doesn’t count on liking what the powerful Doms do to her body with their ropes, chains and toys. Enjoying Emory’s touch after falling for Lane, Addie turns away from both men, scared of what they’re making her feel. She’s worried that a relationship built on a BDSM contract can never be anything but whips and chains.

Lane will exchange Dom leather for shining armor to prove to his rockabilly princess that even the most gallant knights sometimes prefer dungeons.

What do you get when you cross a rockabilly chick with a computer geek Dom?

Lots of dirty, dirty sex! Not what you were thinking, was it? Me either, but boy was I glad to be wrong. Here we have Addie, who is a clothes designer, tailor, retail employee and model all rolled into one. During one photo shoot while posing in retro lingerie, she recreated the now famous poses of Betty Page thus thrusting her into the category of “fetish model”. This of course snags the attention of media outlets looking to make a book featuring elements of BDSM.

After being approached she immediately shuts down the idea of posing, calling it porn which was not at all what she was into. But thanks to the negotiating skills of one very sexy Dom, Lane, who shows her the beauty and power in submitting, Addie decides to pose. As the project unfolds, neither were expecting the feelings that followed or that fact that Addie is a submissive. But while Addie fights her submissive nature, she can’t deny her growing feelings for Lane.

This was a really fun story as the idea was unique and interesting. Lane was a great character, sexy, nerdy and just overall yummy. He decided dominating submissives would be a great way to get over his social awkwardness. Really? I loved that idea, even if it seemed far fetched. Addie was a strong character, sexy, classy and original for a romance novel.

But the reason I didn’t rate this five stars was because her immediate dismissal of the BDSM lifestyle, calling it porn. People who live and breathe the “Rockabilly” lifestyle are typically much more open minded then Addie portrayed at first. Also, I felt the blurb for the book was a bit misleading. It lead me to believe there might be a menage element that just wasn’t there. Then again I could just have been hopeful.

Other then that, it was an excellent read and would suggest to anyone who really digs the retro vibe, sexy Dom’s, bratty subs or the dirty, dirty BDSM flavor.
