She’s got the moves. He’s got the heat. Will their hearts catch the rhythm?

Rachel Taylor’s manager has to be kidding. A porn star dancing beside her in her next music video? She didn’t claw her way back from near obscurity in the pop music world only to become a laughingstock all over again.

Yet the moment she meets Lee, a.k.a. the infamous Buck Harder, their chemistry sizzles. There’s much more to the man behind the stage name than the obvious attributes that make him so successful, and soon she’s fantasizing about sharing more than just a stage.

In only a few steps, they find a perfect, dance-floor groove hot enough to melt the camera lens. But when the video’s release blows up in their faces, her record label exercises an obscure but ironclad clause—stay away from each other. Or else.

Meeting in secret seems the most delicious solution. But they can’t hide this kind of heat for long…and when the paparazzi sniff them out, she realizes choosing to stay with the man she’s fallen for could cause her to fall off the pop music map—permanently.

Would you be willing to fall in love with a man who has sex with multiple women on camera for money? Sounds like a hard pill to swallow, but pop star Olivia Taylor does just that, and the media is never going to let her live it down.

I really enjoyed Ms Gallagher’s writing style and the way she depicted the larger than life celebrity lifestyle. She managed to make Rachael/Olivia seem like a real person but also threw in the struggles that celebrities face, struggles that we really don’t think about. The biggest issue is the constant media, where you can’t go anywhere without a camera taking a picture of you and then tabloids speculating about it. I really enjoyed the way that was written.

The characters in this story were entertaining, realistic, and felt like they were real people and not just the figments of an author’s imagination. I always enjoy that in books when the author makes the characters jump off the page and come to life.

The one thing that confused me about this book is that it’s categorized as an erotic romance. The title screams erotic. However, after having read the book, I would say it’s a contemporary romance with a higher heat rating. I am used to reading ‘your e-reader will burst into flames’ hot erotic romances. This one was sensual and sweet and the sex scenes were descriptive and ‘open door’ but they weren’t as hot as I’m used to. But since I enjoy both erotic and non-erotic books it didn’t diminish my enjoyment of the story. If you would prefer a great story vs hot sex, you’ll probably enjoy this as much as I did.

I did feel like parts of the book were a bit dragged out and too detailed. I did have to skim over a few scenes or passages that bored me a little, but besides that, this was very well written with great characters, an entertaining plot, and some thought provoking areas. I was absolutely convinced that many celebrities feel the way Rachael felt throughout the whole book.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good story.
