Resistance is an awesome story with a uniquely tantalizing plot. I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s one of those exciting new world stories that will keep your interest and have you fanning yourself the whole way through.

Here’s the rundown: Terrorists unleash a lethal virus that turns women into nymphomaniac sex slaves. Most of the female population is wiped out. The surviving women suffer from frightening side effects. Screw or go crazy . With women in short supply the government (run by men) enacts an outrageous claiming law that says multiple men can claim one woman as their wife. Women become prey to be hunted by unscrupulous men and high ranking government officials. Pleasure houses and brothels are commonplace. However, all hope is not lost. There are a few women that are willing to fight for this white slavery to end. To gain their freedom and equality.

Reena is one of those fearless women. She is the rebel leader of the resistance and fights against this injustice against her sisters. Without remorse she doesn’t hesitate to use men to get what she wants. Her rebelliousness has made her a danger to the new government. Now she has a price on her head. She is hunted by so many factions that she’s lost count. But they’ll have to catch her first. And Reena’s not going down without a fight.

Will “Blade” Smith has a kill order with Reena’s name on it. Yet, every time the ruthless assassin gets his luscious target in his sights he hesitates. He keeps remembering their one night of incredible passion.

Relentless bounty hunter, Cade Outlaw, tracks Reena down to collect the bounty on her head. The gorgeous redhead is just another payday to him. Still, he can’t help but admire the rebel leader for her spit and fire…and her sensuality.

After Reena gets nabbed by a group of despicable hunters Will and Cade rush in to save her. Her guys are injured in a spectacular shoot out and Reena saves them. The fun begins when they are stranded at a remote cabin during a snowstorm. Soon the two guys who set out to capture Reena for the price on her head find themselves trying to capture her heart instead.

There was a lot of conflict in this story. All three of the leads had to come to terms with taking what they wanted ….and thought they could never have. The sex scenes were scorching hot. And the characters were fabulous. The thing I most admired about Reena was that she never hesitated to takes what she wanted. This woman was fearless! Drugging two hunky studs to have her way with them. Like taking candy from a baby. My hats off to that gal. You betcha I enjoyed this book. It’s one of the more steamy ones I’ve had the pleasure of reading in a while. The sex-capades are so steamy that they fairly sizzle! There is no way to disappoint with this one. It’s hotter than a chili pepper, folks.
